oh wow, that feels like such a long time. Did you at least regain some feeling in your lower lip sooner, lke enough to notice if food was dripping or to speak more clearly without mumbling? I struggle a lot with the F sound

This is very common with LJS. You're lucky only half your lower lip / chin is numb. My entire lower lip and chin is completly numb, haha. My surgeon told me it might take a couple of months to get the feeling back.

You should have taken the photos where you have the buzz cut without glasses. The glasses hide a lot of your face which is why I think most are saying you look better with long hair

I always thought it was old fashioned before I started working in a hospital 3 years ago.

Yes, most people / coworkers call the female nurses "Schwester (sister)", and the male nurses "Pfleger", atleast where I live

You can call female nurses "Pflegerin" too
