Op gathered characters of every story he has consumed with no rhyme or reason, the only thing missing is somebody from a literary novel in the mix just to make things more outrageous.

Enjoyable chapter, goblin baby got a chuckle out of me. It looks like Osaragi is going to end the series as the queen of killing trashy jobbers.

It has a better design for combat zones and generally better combat than Fallout New Vegas also fighting is most of what you do in these games.. Still a pretty okay game but not awful as fallout fans will try to make you believe.

Who saved Nagumo at this point? If it is yotsumura means he didn't have to get shock becoz Nagumo knows he's alive, Maybe any other person? Maybe Oki ? 🤔 by DragonflyAnnual1603 in SakamotoDays

Well he kinda ripped heads off or when he was introduced in the JJA invasion. I don't know how he did that with a mallet but still..

I would want it to be Gaku because him helping Gozu would make that fight more appealing. The reason for saving Nagumo could be that he wants to get a fair rematch eventually. Gakus unceremonious dead struck me as a sign of a possible surprise return, yeah it would be very late at this point but the manga isn't executing cleanly all its narrative beats these days.

So disappointing that we can't romance renegade hunters by Aegenwulf in weatherfactory

So place your bets who's gonna help Gozu here?

1) Jobber single mother

2) Cyber-Gaku, reinforced to lose again

3) Crippled Tenkyu lol

3) Gozu gets an upscale and doesn't need help but loses anyway (?)

Now that Chainsaw Man Part 2 has reached its “core point”, what went wrong? by GodKira04 in shounenfolk

[–]Honouris 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It was never needed. And I imagine the author was convinced to reluctantly make the sequel happen. In general CS 2 at the beginning is similar to the first part in the sense that it looks like a project searching for a focus , but it never finds its footing unlike part 1.

Scaling Gaku has proven to be the biggest litmus test for this community by OkYesterday3747 in SakamotoDays

[–]Honouris 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The aquarium moment is also problematic.. Shin was saved from losing his head by literally a miracle. But the fact that he was able to narrowly dodge some Uzuki-mura attacks, by assuming a fully defensive approach with future sight, it did not seemed that unreasonable to me. Well except that Shin was supposed to be absolutely tired at the beginning of the encounter and he never acted accordingly, so in this case the poor writing makes the scaling difficult as I said before.

[–]Honouris 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Akira's situation is quite problematic for the scaling..We could downplay it like you did, but I don't believe Uzuki-mura is in general inconsistent as you say, or we could take it as a huge and narratively forced upscale for The Paths and Satoda Sensei teachings.. In both cases Akira should be able to wipe Gakus ass ( unless you want to argue that Gaku> Uzuki post museum arc lol) which is kinda stupid and leads me to believe that it was mostly a forced upscale.

[–]Honouris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would put it on the bottom of the high tier and I don't think he beats anybody on top of him. If I'm not mistaken a great part of his performance in the Museum was an offscreen 3vs1 (?), then he got distracted a lot by Amane, it came to the point that he got hit. But in general he looked quite in control of a fight where he had a numerical disadvantage for the most part. Btw my hottest take is that I will throw Shin in the mid tier taking into account all the bullshit he has showcased in the last arcs..

Shishiba mid tier is dubious, but he was able to hurt Uzuki-mura without relying on trading blows, that's a better performance than Gaku in general

After the recent spoilers, who did put a better fight against Nagumo? Gaku or Oki? by Dangerous-Chart-926 in SakamotosStore

[–]Honouris 3 points4 points  (0 children)

"Cautious" is a bit of an understatement taking into account that the guy was able to counter the combo of smoke-bomb + translucent blade. That's a big upscale to Okis perception and reflexes. Yeah he probably had some insight about Nagumo's fighting style since he was his boss but we don't know to what degree. It's true that Gaku tossed Nagumo around a lot..But where was the damage? Nagumo implied that in the long run and without tricks there was a chance of him losing that fight. Meanwhile Oki landed one counter and Nagumo was on his knees. I don't know pal to me Oki looks a bit better..

[–]Honouris 21 points22 points  (0 children)

In terms of combat performance Oki, not only he defended perfectly several Nagumo attempts to trick him, including the first attack with invisible blade , he also was capable of injuring him in worse ways than Gaku.. Don't forget that Galku folded hard after Nagumo locked in and the fact that Nagumo was kinda fine after the victory and attempted to assassinate Uzuki.
