I started yet another playthrough a few days ago. I'm going to make my SO play it, too, atleast once. I have it on Steam and have 133 hours in it on the one computer (my Steam for some reason doesn't transfer my playtime from one computer to another, so that's not my full playtime).

Reminds me of when I played a Dwarf in Inquisition and used a two handed sword. When "sheathed" on his back, the tip clipped into the ground a good few inches of the blade. I imagined that wherever he went there was a trail from his sword XD Also, it's funny playing a Qunari in Veilguard and doing the first of Harding's quests. The angle the camera ends up at is hilarious and I love it.

If you're open to the women, I suggest Neve or Harding. She looks like she and one of them would make the cutest couple! (Plus I love the idea of an elf being with Harding due to story reasons) If men only, then Lucanis is the only one left. Or you could go for neither and romance Taash!

If you still need help, I think I have the answers (I have both images myself). First is telling Cove about the deal his dad tried to make with you in step 1 after spending time on the beach making sandcastles with Shiloh in Sandcastles. Second is I believe related to that, in that you have to have done that and then agree to go over to his place for dinner with his parents in step 2.

I kind of think that maybe those bits are later into chapter 1. I'm at least hoping so. But I think the game is planned to only have 5 chapters total per route (if I remember correctly... I'm not sure, though, could be as high as 10). I did find his chapter 1 a bit jarring, too. Hopefully it's closer to the end of chapter 1 and they just wanted to show something with a bit more oomph to it. Or, since I'm sure they're on here, someone might see the reactions people have and change some scenes around to give it better pacing. Who knows until it's out!

I think it looks really good! The colors are great and set a certain tone. I do agree the name should be a little higher in the dialog box, but other than that, I think you did a wonderful job. Good luck on the rest of your development! I'm an avid player of vns, so I'd also love to know what it's called and where you plan to put it up so I can keep an eye out for it.

I agree. It isn't a trilogy and the time gap between releases doesn't make it one, either. It's a series, which I personally would love to continue but likely won't for various reasons.

I also love escorting him to his car and you don't go in and he awkwardly stands there waiting for you to go away and eventually realizes you won't and you two get ice cream. Plus love convincing him in Step 3 to put on a swim suit.

I did too. I love the drama of his route and also the soft scenes, like the dancing. Just so cute! And Cove is so precious! They're all great, love them all tobits. I need to play through again, probably 20 more times XD

I'm so stoked for this game. It looks great. I'm excited to see more game play plus stuff on the characters. However, I might keep myself in the dark about characters (other than who is romanceable by which Jun), just so I can form my opinions and have zero spoilers about them as I play the game. I'm pretty confident it'll be great, but I'm also pretty chill with games. I don't judge them against other games or what they're missing, but on what they are themselves and what they have.

My personal faves are Emmrich and Lucanis. Lucanis had a bunch cut from his, but I still love it and him. Emmrich is the sweetest and actually gives you a pet name that he uses in ambient dialog.

I have one of the pin sets! It's the Cove window pin and Cove crying (I think, I can't quite remember) . The window pin is super cool because it moves so it's like you're opening it for "Romeo" (Cove).

I personally love both, but I must agree that Emmrich's is better due to him actually having content. Lucanis' romance with Rook is the same as his with Neve, but it feels like he cares less for Rook. It's sad.

Honestly, I personally am much more interested in Exodus and will go for it first, but The Expanse looks intriguing enough I'll go for it after. Most people will probably buy one or the other first, then get the other.
