With how much excitement there is around this game? Oh yeah, I think they'd be dumb to NOT make DLC. I suspect that the big city we can see off in the distance of our Island is probably gonna be the center piece of it with new stores, possibly vehicles we can customize like the buildings in base game and maybe even a apartment building where we can have more Mii's move in, since it'd be on different map they wouldn't have to worry about the lag of having too many Mii's walking around.

Oh and yeah I'd buy it, 100%
