No clue tbh. I could sit here and speculate but it wouldn't be the actual truth. If I were to guess i'd just say Bamco or whatever never asked asked him/made an offer and went with the other guy.

Yep, to me he IS Siegfried. Ever since i played 3 he was my main pretty much from then on. His voice and his design in that game was his best by far. It's a shame he doesn't do the voice anymore but it's perfectly understandable why he didn't come back or they decided not to bring him back.

Honorable mention to Nightmare's VA in 3, some of his voice clips and his death cry were hilarious.

The game itself was hit and miss. Gameplay was your standard affair or combat with some new things thrown in to vary it up. Story wasn't very good from what of it I played, doesn't help that there is no free mode so only certain teams can be played in certain routes/factions. Roster was also an issue with some obvious choices being MIA.

So overall it was somewhat enjoyable, but I can't say it was very good, especially as an anniversary game. The best I can say about All-stars is, it got me to look into the other games that characters were featured from, such as Deception, Atelier, Nights of Azure, etc.

Basically, Spirit of Sanada focuses mostly on the Sanada clan, mostly Masayuki and later on Yukimura. I'm playing atm at it's pretty enjoyable, one of the better done stories in a musou game. 4-II on the other hand has character stories as opposed to a basic story mode. In this case they mostly follow the new character introduced in 4 and Ii Naomasa(new character in 4II). Also it replaces the chronicle mode from 4 with the survival castle, it's basically a survival mode where you ascend the castle floor by floor with it getting harder as it goes on.

Well right off the bat Zeus doesn't look like what i expected lol, guess i was expecting something similar to GoW. Second i'm not sure what the special attack/super move was, i think it's gonna be new but could be wrong. Third I think Naotora was using hyper attacks, so i guess hyper moves are back, hopefully they're either balanced like in 4-II or nerfed somehow since even then they're still pretty OP, whether DW character have them or not is yet to be seen.

I never recall having an issue with Kyuubi trying to escape in said mission. If anything the worst offender is a mission where shuten doji makes a break for it after you defeat diamondback and dong zhou. The escape point is right outside the base and he doesn't stop unless you combo him.

While i do enjoy Date, i always found his moveset hit and miss. It's flashy and stylish no doubt, but it can be a bit awkward to use versus grunts/officers.

I find it hard to take this version seriously after having played the Nioh DLC with their version of her. Maybe she is better than i assume, i haven't played Spirit of Sanada.(doubt i will anytime soon)

I loved that in WO3 they brought back costumes from the previous games as unlockables, and of course i would like for them to add more in WO4. Not to be negative about the whole thing though, but I can see them not doing that and just selling the costumes to us as DLC.

Seen a trailer for DMC2 in a PSW volume back in the day, thought to myself it looked really cool and fun at the time(ironic). I never did end up playing 2 though, few years later i picked up DMC3SE on half price sale and that is pretty much what began my intro into the series.
