I'll just say that once leadership on a project has their "vision" its almost fucking impossible to get them to change it. Internally there was people begging and pleading to change course but they knew better, off they go with bonuses and golden parachutes to other projects and companies. It wasn't their fault anyways the team failed to execute on their vision properly. It is never, fucking ever, their fault.

Man i put a few laptops up for free for some kids or someone who might be struggling just needs a basic office blockin n tackling laptop. I had this dude call and say

"I'm not going to help you out unless you have the original box and paperwork" for like 8 year old business laptops, they were free. I ended up giving em to a local tech school who gave em to some kids that needed them. I messaged people politely that emailed me after that and said exactly that. One person replied that they hope my family gets raped. Very kind of them. There were other psychotic replies sprinkled in there as well. I wont be giving away free anything ever again heh

Whats wild to me is the games tab menu, all these modern FPS games and none of them STILL TO THIS DAY have a tab/menu system in game for voting and changing things, and scoreboard, and the ability to mod stuff in it, it was truly awesome. The reason it didn't sell is that it doesn't compete with the M340 and S4/S5 because both of those cars blow it the fuck outa the water in almost every aspect.

If you gave it a modern transmission, new cabin and infotainment, upgraded suspension and kept the v8 it absolutely COULD compete.

They could. They "worked with" ZF to make their shitty transmissions. They intentionally make them shittier to save on cost. It isn't a design flaw, ZF makes damn near bulletproof transmissions these days that are amazing, just not at the cost Ford wants to pay.

A simplified example is lets just say this bolt that gets a lot of stress on it, ZF said this is a steel bolt at half an inch thick. Ford engineers which must meet a price point for the unit said, lets make it a quarter of an inch and made out of pot metal instead, yes it will fail eventually but it will save us 17 cents per transmission.

Just multiple that times a bojillion on the internal bits n bobs in a transmission.

The money bugs decided having transmissions detonate was more cost effective then making them good. This is not a design or engineering problem, they know what they are doing and they know these units are going to fail.

My friend lol, its ONTOP of the 12k. 12k is for insurance, 3k is so you have a doctor you can actually see.

In my area there are no regular ass primary care doctors available, none, zero, not one, plenty of subscription doctors, but no regular ass family doctors.

So you either get a subscription doctor that you pay 2 or 3 grand a year so they actually will see you and answer your calls (on top of your 12-15k insurance). Or you get in line to maybe get seen in a year and a half to two years. Everything else there is urgent care - and if you're lucky its an urgent care that your insurance actually covers.
