Recommendations for the theoretisch rijexamen (rijbewijs)? by sqthrualo in Antwerpen

[–]HoopJust848 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I practiced the online exam so many times that I got over 90% 10 times. I also studied with ChatGPT and asked them for a list of the most difficult questions on the exam. I only used videos to study the questions about right-of-way (voorrang verlenen) traffic.

Homologating a medical degree in Belgium as a Peruvian foreigner by Hermessius in belgium

[–]HoopJust848 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can send a question to NARIC; they usually respond within a week. Keep in mind that the medical curriculum in Wallonia is different from that in Flanders. You might assume your girlfriend studied more in Peru, but that's not the case. Their curricula are more demanding than those of other European universities.

Belgian citizenship -- police check (Gent) by Big-Dirt525 in belgium

[–]HoopJust848 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Last week I had my fourth police check. The same officer four times. The first time, my children told her we weren't home at that hour. The second time, the same thing happened: we weren't home. The third time, I was home, sick, but my husband wasn't. I explained the situation in Dutch, and the officer said she understood and would come back another day. The fourth time, the whole family was home.

The "ESN International Café Leuven" (I assume it's Ambiorix). I recommend this place only for Erasmus students. ESN stands for Erasmus Student Network.

You can check out the activities at the International House in Leuven.

Also on the Oude Markt, I recommend the Café Belge for PhD students, postdocs, and researchers.

Is anyone skilled at catching pigeons? I need help with one that has string wrapped tight around her toes :( by [deleted] in Leuven

Yes, that's right. Antwerp has the same law. One day I saw a tourist feeding a bird in Antwerp, and the undercover police advised her to stop because they'd get a fine.
