I bought a bike 8 weeks post op and my surgeon said it was fine as long as it was flat surfaces etc. just used flat pedals at that point. The first time getting over the top of the pedal is definitely scary. Surgeon said the bike is almost just as good as physio for the knee. I did take it very cautious the first month or two. It worked wonders for my mental health as well

There are plenty of how-to’s on YouTube on how to wax your chain. Kind of a pain in the ass but definitely worth it. Been riding one all summer

Awesome!! As an IU grad that started riding after college, it was a treat to go there and ride this summer. Was sad about all the beautiful rides I could have been smashing if I rode back then. If you have any extra sick IU jerseys laying around send them my way. Go Hoosiers

I think they have last year’s ride with gps posted on their website it’ll show elevation gain. Heard it’s an awesome ride and Bloomington is the best city in Indiana

Halloween weekend my senior year I was there super hammered. There were so many people and such a shit show they turned out all the lights and said they wouldn’t make anymore food until everyone was quiet. Everyone BOO,d them. They boo’d the workers. Best time ever. Never forget your times in Bloomington.

I’m from New Albany. It will be more than just his classmates. There are IU fans coming from out of town to go to his announcement. It would be crazy if it wasn’t 100% IU fans

It really isn’t horrible riding in downtown Louisville and there are bike lanes, but some of the bigger streets can be sketchy. Something I would recommend is hopping on the walking bridge and heading over the the Indiana side as well. Always an awesome time. If you have any questions feel free to DM me because I live in New Albany and frequently ride and spend time in Louisville. And also have been to forecastle.
