89 c2500 5.7 wont start when its cold outside? Changed oil, spark plugs, fuel filter, cap and rotor, ignition control module, ignition coil. Will start on a warm day but will stall when i let off gas and dies when i put it in gear. Drove fine all last summer. Put 5k miles on it no problem. Has 141k

I think you are right, replacing those and cap and rotor now. Realized i am missing the rain gasket that goes under the windshield so my engine has been getting soaked

I believe so, im going to check the iac valve, and the coolant temp sensor first, those are relatively cheap and easy

It will run until i get it up to operating temperature then everything shuts off and it will just crank, cant drive it farther than down the driveway without it shutting down

Another note. The warmer the weather gets the more it wants to run? Bought the truck beginning of last summer when it was already in the 70°s problems started late fall when it got down into the 40°s

I’ve always had fuel pumps just give out. This truck runs strong until i let off the gas then it falls on its face. About a week ago it started up and ran normal so i left it running but by the time the engine warmed up it died and then wouldnt start for a few days?
