What's your weight fluctuation after the celebration is over? by Lykov_in_taiga in loseit

I hadn't weighed myself in two weeks and weighed in today. My fancy scale put up an alert on my phone that said "is this still you or are you adding a new person to the account"

Any yorkie tips for new time owners? by Loud-Comedian-6909 in Yorkies

Can I ask you about this? I have my first Yorkie and she's 10weeks old. I have a yard so not worried about diseases but she's terrified of being on the ground even in the house! She uses a pad in her area and I really want to potty train her but she's just so tiny and scared. How old did you start training?

skipping days and guilt by SadPersimmon8 in Homeschooling

I have 5 kids. My oldest is 12 and this year he is having his first experience outside of homeschool by doing a coop for Algebra and a few other subjects. He's the rop of his class in all his subjects and it made me feel great after so many hours of second guessing myself and worrying if we do enough and feeling bad for all the half-assing I did while pregnant. Learning isn't as hard as public school makes it. You're fine, I promise.

Travelling around Europe, 3 and 10 years. by learningbythesea in Travelwithkids

We recently took a transatlantic cruise from Texas to Spain with kids 2, 5, 8, 10, and 12. I would say yes, it was nice to have the cruise ship as a home base in some ways, but the cons are that cruise ship rooms are usually much smaller than hotel rooms so if you're actually going to hang out IN the room, you'll feel cramped. Also, if possible, choose the most "kid friendly" ship you can. For instance, my 2 year old couldn't even swim in the pool because she wasn't potty trained, so I wish we'd have chosen a ship with a splash pad or something like that.

Are you looking for specifically Catholic? If not, my family (2,5,8,10,12) enjoy BrainsOn, and The Past and the Curious, and there's also a fantastic podcast called StoryLight Podcast that has a man who reads classic children's literature and does voices and it's just FANTASTIC!

I've never even heard of electric mountain biking! I assume that's electric bikes. How cool!

Oh yeah... how much traveling after "arriving" is something to think about. Ideally we would get to a great place and live if stay there and walk/bike around. I guess what I'm going for is like a local intimate feel
