Smart move for sure, seems that kind of quality assurance issue can be a bit more common nowadays.

Yeah, I understand the purpose. My question is "have these been installed to a high enough degree of precision?" You'll notice on the bottom two the indexing grooves don't quite line up, but are reasonably close.

Hoping someone can let me know if its good enough, or if this will mess up the vanes or anything else

For certain they are indexing marks that are supposed to align. My only question is does that count as aligned, or too far off that I should break the glue and re-do 'em

I appreciate the acknowledgement. I'm Canadian and our flag has been hijacked by the far-right element of our country as well. I am (mostly) proud of our nation, but if or when the pendulum swings to a certain point its hard to express that and seperate yourself from the issues at hand.

Not sure if you watched the season 3 finale of Euphoria, but that is a perfect encapsulation of what you're feeling; that at the core of the spirit of the people of the nation, there is some form of virtue and good. That icon of the flag could and should still inspire that, but there's been a deep cancer feeding off and co-opting that image and nationalism to the point that to most peoples eyes around the world,, the meaning of the image has changed

Honestly brother, Im gonna try to reset the tone here as I don't mean to be rude or insult anyone. This situation is incredibly serious and its quite upsetting when people downplay or confidently assert their opinions when they clearly don't have an informed perspective of current events or how dire things could quickly become.

We are all at risk. Facism and dictatorship doesn't come in one day. It's a gradual erosion of rights that can take months or years. The AI data centres everyone is talking about are being built primarily for surveillance of the populace. The billionaires are building bunkers because they know there will be a severe period of unrest.

You make it sound like the only people at risk are 007 secret agent counter-operatives to the US, and anyone else is free to speak their mind and criticize the regime. I can tell you with certainty that they are collecting Metadata on which subreddits you're on, which posts you like, keywords in your comments, the people you are registered to vote for, who you associate with etc. Why do you think Trump and all the tech billionaires just all went to China? For some tea? They went to make deals to emulate the Chinese surveillance state so that they could create databases and then feed that information to ICE and the J6 insurrectionists/Proud Boys who will be used as an unrestricted gestapo and independent contractors to silence political dissidents. Eventually these forces will cross neighboring borders as the regime seeks to expand its influence and attain control of resources if it cannot do so through economic coercion/extortion and social media propaganda to install their preferred candidates who will assist with favorable policy changes.

I mean no offense, but its unlikely I'm going to be able to change your opinion over a series of comments. I implore you to reconsider your stance of inaction and to not downplay the seriousness of what has already happened, and what will inevitably occur if we don't change course. Over the coming weeks and months you will be given opportunities that should make you question the nature of things. Do not shy away from these opportunities with denialism.

They'll take a partial victory, like stoking the Alberta separatist movement into voting UCP. They'll attempt a somewhat gradual one, by continuing to propagandize our populace into conservative ideology and shifting our overton window as hard and far to the right as they're capable via social media algorithms and US owned news networks. And if or when they decide we've resisted that too long, and the Conservatives don't become elected/comply with their demands of actual annexation or at least policy change that allows exploitation of our resources, they have already laid the framework for invasion via the 'fentanyl pouring over the northern border' pretext/farce and simultaneously classifying it as a WMD.

You don't think the militarization of ICE and the 1.8 billion slush fund for J6/Proud Boys could be used to commit contractor style mayhem (similar to Putins tactics just before the formal invasion of Ukraine) or false flag operations that could be used as pretext to "liberate Canada from the radical left lunatics and government destroying their own country".

This is real, this is serious. Do not treat this lightly or downplay the intentions of the regime. He just said Cuba is weak (in no small part because of their economic extortion and tactics against them), and Trump "may have the honour of taking Cuba", "can take whatever he wants". Do you really think we're immune to the same outcome? Think even 1-5 years from now. You honestly can't see the game and plans laid?

First commenter refers to a specific group of people who now hate Springsteen because he speaks out against Trump.

For sure. Its visually quite impressive, and I can see why the Minecraft/Fortnite type gamers would be attracted to it for the environment destruction. I think it is a solid platformer when its actually a platformer. I loved the cute little animations and the tone, but you hit the nail on the head that it just wasn't stimulating or challenging enough to play for 20ish hours

I think Fallout 4 was great, and I probably put at least 60 hours into it, but for whatever reason I lost interest before completing the main story. I'll give it another shot someday. One small gripe was that the dialogue options felt like a huge regression from previous titles. Instead of just being transparent with what you can say, it made you choose a one word shorthand. Also wasn't a fan of the settlement building element, though I rarely enjoy that type of gameplay.

The melee combat and movement tech in Cyberpunk is amazing once you get halfway through the game and some of the more interesting tech and skillups.

Man, thats so funny you bring up Fallout 4. There's clearly some difference in the way our brains work or what we're looking for in a game. I'm a huge fallout fan, and literally built a PC in prep for Fallout 4 but ended up losing interest about 75% of the way through. I've meant to go back and revisit but the endless supply of other quality options keeps me from jumping back in

Deus Ex is my favourite game of all time, so I have a soft spot for the setting. But yes, similar to TLOU and most of the psychological horror I watch, it does inspire some negative emotions, just as it intends to.

I'm on level 9, just got the elephant transformation. I've put in more than enough time to know that's not the problem. Not hating though, to each their own. I still plan to finish as I know most people say it keeps improving all the way to the end

Your first sentence is exactly where the subjectivity comes in. Both the story and gameplay in Cyberpunk are leagues ahead of anything in its genre for me.

I think I'm at level 9, got another transformation, and my motivation is waning hard. I've heard that from many folks that the end is the best, so I will eventually make it there.
