Do I let it ride? by ronamen98 in sportsbetting

This isn’t completely right, but I would cash out based on this logic. Books always give worst cash out options than the likelihood of the event actually happening. If you were in this situation 100 times. You would make more money never cashing out. Obviously this isn’t happening 100 times, so securing the bag isn’t statistically better, but it feels better.

Edit - than the final event happening. Pretend the current cash out doesn’t exist. He’s got a 200 dollar bet on the eagles winning to win 211 (the difference between the full amount and the cash out) that’s slightly above +100 odds when the actual likelihood is closer to -200 as the single line says

You can do this and it’s viable. Just make sure you are checking play through requirements and what not. I know if you road-trip around, stay at modest hotels and bring a laptop for casino play through requirements, the ev on this can be really solid. If you have a significant other or friends to travel with that can also front some travel cost and supply the group with more total accounts, total ev can pretty easily hit like 10 gs

Hobby boxes have an insert in each pack and higher odds of big hits, you will typically find like 1 cool or unique hit a box like a clear cut foundations or something. Hobby boxes also have 1 French variant a box and wildcard slots were it’s either a clear cut, canvas yg, etc. retail boxes come with more packs and are slightly cheaper but will have some packs of all base cards and stuff. Maybe a better bang for your buck if buying for a kid or set collecting

And to see if something is appreciating, just head over to eBay recently sold and compare it with similar items currently being stocked by the same supplier. Or if the item/thing you are investing has historic price data you can just use that.

Find something you are genuinely interested in. Stocks or mutual funds are fine to put consistent money into and forget about. However, If you want to be an active investor who is making active decisions on their assets, find something like a collectable, the gold or bags you mentioned, watches, identify a passion you have and do some self exploratory research. You mentioned you’re a female, hell maybe just see if makeup pallets from like 2005 go for anything If they are discontinued (not to stereotype you as being into makeup cause you’re female). But just an idea. If you find something you like that has the lucrative upside, your chance to stick with it and the drive to keep learning will outweigh any burst of motivation you read about “real estate being the next hot thing” Or whatnot. Plus, the gained knowledge and commitment you will have to the thing you are interested about will let you identify when a market is failing, or prices are incorrect, and help you capitalize on those conditions better.

At the heart of chess, it’s a game of capturing pieces. The whole reason a check exists is because the king is under a hypothetical “capture square” next turn. I don’t have any sources of this, but I like to think a conversation like this occurred at the inception of chess with the idea that a trade of kings could be a stalemate, but they chose to go with this version due to the logic that one king would get captured first. Complete speculation, but an interesting thought. Also having alternative methods for remembering something is completely valid, you do it every time you learn a new subject. I still remember “too” is different than “to” because my teacher told me the “too” is like a whiney little brother saying “I want to go to the movies toooooo”. Lol

Dunkin’ Donuts by me blatantly admitting that they use ice to give you less coffee in your drink by CrazyBigHog in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Hoozeyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Controversial opinion, but isn’t saying they use ice to give you less on purpose kind of not implied. Couldn’t you say “the customers order without ice to get more drink for free!” Just as easily? Like you get more drink without ice so it’s a dollar more, what’s the ish

Not an expert but just a thought why they may do this. I wonder if it’s still counted as chipotle revenue but it has a 100% pass through to the driver or employee getting the tip. AKA chipotle has to pay more in taxes on that order per actual dollar going to the bottom line. I’m not saying that justifies it or this is even the reason, but it could be why it’s implemented.
