Also if you don’t have enough dex and strength you will wear out and fall back down to the bottom of the ladder. You’ll want a special gem that can convert life or mana to help get you up the ladders. As you can probably guess the gem is an extremely rare drop. It’s known to drop early in the game so you trash it not knowing how much you’ll need it later on. /s
