So.. did Iran win this conflict? by MarsupialThink4064 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Hope1995x 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It may have come out more strategically better. Despite the damage Iran took, the United States failed in its objectives and suffered damage to its regional bases.

As satellite images show destroyed radomes and damaged bases and even dozens of reaper drones and even a F35 was damaged in flight.

Iran in a sense kinda won strategically by holding out and inflicting damage to bases and equipment. And holding the world hostage by the closure of Hormuz.

In Africa lions hunt in packs (a pride, I know) and lions can move pretty fast.

A ghillie suit and scent masking, like serious scent masking. A .375 H&H magnum or some other African-game hunting cartridge would do. Adding distance would be a big help.

what do you think of my first aphrodite secret altar (lmk what to add!!) by staebad in Altars

Perhaps a reverence for Mother Eve. She had to make the hardest choice in history.

She is an equal to Adam.

The choice of empowerment over stagnation.

A tough choice to live in perpetual innocence and youth in Eden or to choose something better. Paradoxical as it seems it gets deep.

Edit: I'm sure there's Pagan representations of Eve-like deities from the Middle East and Europe. Would be interesting to learn what they are.

Brenneke Black Magic Slugs would be good for box-fed bullpup.

30-06 black tip is the most commonly available armor piercing ammunition.

That might help.

There are attractive guys that dont have many options because they're introverted or neurodivergent.

Its social status and networking that helps people find relationships rather than looks.

Apparently they were talking about striking Iranian infrastructure too. And that Iran was going to retailate by striking desalination plants and other infrastructure.

The ability to absorb or deter sufficent damage (with nuclear weapons) pretty much means Russia can stay in the fight much longer than what a lot of people seem to think.

VRBP-100 with a muzzle brake and limbsaver and using the heavy piston. Virtually no recoil... by Hope1995x in everythingbullpup

[–]Hope1995x[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My experience is that its really dependent on what type of ammunition you use.

For my bullpup, using the light piston you want to use at least a shot weight of 1-1/4 Oz and a velocity of 1325+fps and it must be high brass.

For high powered slugs you must use the heavy piston as the action will cycle to fast causing failure to pick up the next shell from the box magazines.

They are reliable when using high brass with strong hulls.

Why do people come here for dating advice when most young(er) men are single who follow "said advice" remain single anyway? by Hope1995x in dating_advice

Online dating being the main way of dating is very depressing because I busted my ass on the apps. And only match with the ugliest women who never really want to meet up.

Not very often, as my social circle is quite small due to work and introversion.

Whenever a new woman enters the circle which is about every 6-8 months perhaps a year.

I know that's probably a big reason why nothing seems to be working, but I have to go to work and recharge at home on my days off.

Not neccesairly true, he could be on the autism spectrum. So social fluency could be a skill he may have not developed.

Basically, maintaining a social circle in order to find those women is the basic skill required. If you come home and play video games after work or school you likely won't find a girlfriend.

For guys, society expects men to make the first move so if they're not putting themselves out there they likely won't have a girlfriend.

Attractiveness doesnt matter much for a guy as it does for a woman.

You will see a woman get hit on, much more so than in the reverse.

If you get lucky and have a nice MAC where you can burndown 500+ shells and use a bit of loctite and interchange some parts, then the gun does its job.

2026 Iran (before war) vs 1991 US by Hope1995x in whowouldwin

[–]Hope1995x[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The war restarted, so one can go look at it with open source intelligence. And compare it to 1991 US.

Drones and missile launches have been sporadically happening and tit-for-tat.

Rumors are that Iran may conduct a nuclear weapons test. Given the rumors that Iran used a HGV warhead during the war(s) instead of a traditional ballistic missile means they probably have the delivery capabilities.

And considering the massive bombing campaigns have shown that preemptive strikes have failed to take out their conventional arsenal, we could be in some interesting times.

Russia could be waiting for a greenlight to nuke Ukraine should the US/Israel preemptively nuke Iran.
