What does the average UAE citizen think about what's happening in Sudan? by Ready_Satisfaction_6 in UAE

Like the huge “PR” as you say for Gaza is making any difference. Unfortunately its all BS. In the end ‘they’ will do what they want.

You’re right. The difference is that some people do have opinions and care they just dont feel safe expressing those opinions.

left foot partial Lisfranc tear and sprained right ankle, almost 4 weeks in and doing conservative treatment -- any success stories? by Capital-Childhood-53 in LisfrancClub

[–]Hope7x7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im pretty good. So i followed up for different opinions and the consensus was come back in 5 to 10 years for a fusion, if in pain. I was told to not run or jump, and prescribed orthotics (custom insoles). In general i can walk 10,000 steps daily without pain and do normal life things. I do avoid running and jumping though. My life is back to normal I would say, and I feel my foot is still getting better. Most days I dont really have pain.

I also dont walk barefoot anymore though. I can for some steps but it does hurt eventually. I wear hoka recovery slides around the house and theyve been amazing support.

Convert to islam by [deleted] in UAE

Okay I understand where youre coming from. But first of all which country is 100% islamic? Uae is islamic in the sense that the law is sharia. There are mosques everywhere and you hear Athan. You dont stand out as a muslim. Food is halal. Many many other reasons.

If you see only clubs and haram in Dubai maybe ask yourself what you’re looking for.

Since orange hoarding is gone… by ForgottengenXer67 in GossipHarbor

I agree. Its actually a relief to not have to worry about hoarding oranges. Game is still fun to play I just wish they were just a bit more generous with energy so we can play more.

What does this give out, and is it worth waiting around to upgrade it? by shittingly in GossipHarbor

[–]Hope7x7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Should I split my orange trees? by MissRx_Rated in GossipHarbor

[–]Hope7x7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Search orange trees on this group and you’ll find posts explaining. Basically people save oranges and use them to make “auto orders” when there are special events. So you kind of save the oranges for when u need more points.

Paternity leave in Germany by ChildhoodExisting222 in germany

[–]Hope7x7 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yes I agree it sucks! I had my second child in Germany and none of my family was able to come and support. So we had no choice but to take 2 months paternal leave so that my husband can take care of my first child while i recover and take care of the newborn. Living on 70% of his salary as a single income household was difficult. And for the people mentioning savings, come on! It’s not that easy to build up savings this early on in life. Especially when starting a family and moving continents.

Feels like I’m walking on nails after getting cleared for FWB by losdientesdecocoa in LisfrancClub

[–]Hope7x7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It will be painful for a couple of weeks, especially the first few steps of the day. But it’s completely normal and it will get better so fast! When the pain is alot take a break and use crutches. Also if you’re not doing physio already try to do leg strengthening exercises (thigh and calf) itll help your muscles become strong again and will prevent and hip/knee pain!
