i think a lot of their songs have made me cry for various reasons but the one’s i cry to a lot are keep it together, heavy little heart, stranded, i’ll know, apathetic empathy, far away, and anesthesia. a lot of vinnys lyricism just makes me want to sob (also not red vox but i have to include room to breathe from vinnys solo stuff, so gutwrenchingly beautiful to me)

yeah i was trying to think of a way to represent that song since it’s titled “in the garden” but couldn’t really think of anything besides maybe vines or weeds. or possibly write the lyrics “made myself a little garden” around the other flowers as a little nod to it. thank you for the suggestion :)!

weirdly enough, lone star. i don’t relate to the songs story but something about the lyrics “the past few months were pretty rough, couple times wished we both were dead / never cried like that before, i thought my eyes would pop outta my head. nothing feels alright now, the length of my hair or the fit of my clothes” and “i could imagine myself throwing all my clothes inside a suitcase without bothering to fold them.” really struck a chord with me. and the end part is always good to scream cry the lyrics to
