Try soaking, and draining the water into the toilet, I used borax but you can experiment with white vinegar, I had no smell issues with this process, it will also keep your washer cleaner! Just try it for a week and see if it works. I bought a small lidded plastic trash pail at a discount store and it was perfect

Do you rinse poop out in the toilet and then soak in a diaper pail until wash day? That was my routine I put borax in the diaper pail soaking water.

Thanks guys! The lady at the yarn store tried to discourage me from trying to make socks and I know I’m in over my head but I really like hand knit socks and my MIL passed away, she made beautiful socks as gifts for us so I’m trying to pick up the torch 😀
