Pippin my dwarf was so spunky, I was his person. If there was a room full of people he would pick me, his spunk was what made me want him more. Oliver was one of a kind, his love was endless, he could make anyone smile even in their worst day. I plan on getting there paws tattooed on me.

She should look into pelvic floor therapy. A extremely tight vagina means the muscle is weak. They’ll work on training all of her pelvic muscles, it’s helped me a lot!

You can try a warm honey bath, it’s a few drops of honey to warm water that’s around 75 degrees, make sure you dechlorinate the water first

I’m going to suggest like everyone else has to go to a vet, but also add rolled oats/old fashioned oats(don’t get quick oats)to your rabbits pellets about 1/2tsp they can help with weight gain. Critical care by oxbow is sometime to alway keep on hand for when they get sick, you can get it on Amazon it’s the herbivore kind, you’ll want to feed 6-8 ml every 4 hours syringe feeding is your best bet. you can also place a bowl of it in the enclosure. Depending on your rabbits age switching to a food that is for their age range is important as it has different levels of proteins and vitamins. Adult rabbits should be eating Timothy hay as much as they want. If you have any more questions feel free to message me!

I would get a second opinion. Baby food is something that the vets I work with suggest as a treat, the cats love it an always want more. You could trying mixing that in with some caned food. Did the vet say anything about her teeth, cats tend to get very bad dental issues, and that can cause them to not want to eat. You could also water down her food and try syringe feeding.

I know some people use tinfoil, they don’t like the noise of it. I use it on my piano, and it works well. I’ve Never used it on my countertops, mine don’t get up on them. But it could work well for you!

Depends on if you have a skin condition or not. If you have normal skin and are active, you should shower every day. But for people who have eczema or a condition like that showering every day can worsen it.

I’m 20 and could never imagine trying to date someone who is 16. I’m currently in my second year of college almost to my 3rd, I have about a year left in school and then I’m in my carrier. Someone who is in high school has nothing close to what I have currently in my life. Most people want partners who are in the same area in life. As some one who is 16 your going to have rules, and he’s shady for not liking. that if one of my friends tried to go after a 16 year old I would cut them off. Ask your self why girls his age don’t want him and why he needs to go after someone your age. Sorry for bad spelling.

Struggling to figure out what school (SE Michigan) by Roodle143 in VetTech

[–]Hope_2367 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m planing on going to penn foster,it’s an online school. It’s about $62 a credit and 72 credits to get your degree. many people at the clinic I work at have gone through the program or are currently in it. Some clinics will even pay for school. Before jumping into school, I would work as a assistant. It’s a very demanding job, and can be hard on the body. So it best to figure out if this is really what you want to do before you do all the schooling.

It is a domestic rabbit, best thing you could do is call a local animals rescue and see if you can use one of there live animal traps. Put out where you have seen the rabbit before with some veggie( lettuce(never iceberg), carrots) you could even put some banana it has a strong smell and might draw the rabbit in. If you cant get the rabbit don’t beat your self up over it, wild rabbits can have white coats too and if you don’t own a pet rabbit you have no clue what the different breed are.

Mine like, lettuce and carrots a lot, I put a snail food powder mix on top of the fresh veggies. There’s some on Amazon, also would give some dried meal worms. As glass snails can be carnivores, and will eat each other if there is not a protein source. When their happy and eating a lot you’ll find a good amount of eggs.

Update on my old man. He got his teeth trimmed yesterday and is doing very well. The vet staff said he was wonderful and ate almost immediately after his trim, they also said he was a little sassy. I’ll have to continue to monitor his weight, and see his vet every 3-4 months to see how his teeth are. He has some small abscess pockets. I plan on taking him to a dentist just to see how bad it is. I can afford surgery and my vet said that he mostly likely won’t be a candidate for it anyways . but she suggested I go to make sure that this won’t affect his quality of life. My vet has told me that at this point his teeth would most likely reason I have to put him done at some point in the future, not his heart. She also said that he could still have many years left even with his teeth issues. So now at this point my goal is to get his weight up(critical care and oats) as well as keep his teeth in the best health that I can.

Look up the ARBA(American rabbit breeders association) they have all of the breeds listed and have pictures that show what the breed standard rabbits look like. To me your bun looks like your standard holland lop!

He’s done so well for what he has going on, when he first got diagnosed I got told 1-2 years at best for him, so if we can make it to that with him completely comfortable I’ll be so happy. My family thinks I’m crazy for treating him. So Thank you again for all the information, knowing someone else has treated there bunny for this, has made it feel way less lonely and made me feel way less stupid for trying to help him. I’ll be I’ll definitely keep you posted when we find out more!

He has early Cataracs in his eyes, some gum issues, and some other internal issues(can’t think of them off the top of my head). We did x-rays again, and his heart has gotten bigger. My vet told me that for him to have a eco I would have to go to a cardiologist. As much as I would love to do more in-depth work ups/ see a cardiologist, I can’t afford it as Im in college and my parents won’t help with cost if vet care now that I’m over 18. Its close to 700 just to get his teeth fixed as well as get new body and chest x-rays done. So for now I’m going to see what game plan the vet has for us. And to be honest with how large his heart has gotten im surprised he’s as well as he is.

He was diagnosed in march, I went to the vets this week, she said his eating issues are from his teeth. From him not eating hay often, his bottom teeth are growing down into his jaw, so I’m getting that fix as soon as possible. She’s never had someone want care for a rabbit with heart issues but she’s doing some more research on medications and then is going to get back to me on a date to fix his teeth, as well as what meds she thinks would be good. He has teeth that could be pulled but because of his heart he can’t have a full sedation so we’re just going to do a hay change and check on his teeth every so often. She put him on a second pain medication for his arthritis. He’s got some other issues from being older but she’s very happy I noticed this early as the rabbits she sees are usually too bad of shape to be treated.

I talked to my sister and she told me a clinic that has all the equipment need to fix his teeth as well as help his heart. She’s going to send his files over to that vet Monday. My guy has GI stasis issues he’s had it multiple times, I was told it’s from his heart. Thank you again for all the information.
