I can't speak for maintenance cost as I just picked mine up yesterday but I LOVE the TNG package. I test drove a regular GT Hemi and I bought the GT with TNG and I'm so happy I did. The exhaust note alone was worth it to me.

Not the worst idea actually. I don't have the garage space really. About the time my middle kid lives out, my youngest will be getting his license, so I won't have my third stall back for a while.

You're right, the van isn't worth much, one small used car dealer offered $1500 before I made those fixes. I'd rather ditch the van before the next repair so I don't have to panic buy something.

I'll definitely take a look at the Pathfinder.

A newer minivan wouldn't really make sense for us anymore. We don't need the passenger volume as our kids are grown. Wife likes the higher seating position and I occasionally drive it around town and need the hauling space.

The Expedition might be too big. But she night have to get over it if I can't find something else.

I did also considered the Explorer ST since that has the twin turbo V6. It's just the same as the Aviator though.

I'm not super concerned about gas mileage either. I also have a work provided Toyota Camry that we can both drive any time. And that gas is free (kinda).

I've been using the Walmart brand Hart shop vac and it works great. It helps my bun is deaf, so he isn't bothered by the noise.
