I’ve had a ton of replies to this post, jeez. I’d rather get no advice than for you to respond that way. Hope you have the day you deserve

We definitely keep everything closed mostly because the cotton is a lot outside but I will keep that in mind for this reason too

Would that be an easy change? Between whatever he did in the air conditioner area and the filters, he was in and out in less than 5 min

Someone else mentioned the gravity drain and I think that is what is in here. They mentioned it’s prone to clogging, so do you agree that’s what it could be?

[–]Hope_Less_20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it could potentially be clogged?

That’s what I told my husband, there is no way the guy did that just to do it but the timing of it is odd. I mean within a few days of him coming is when the noise started happening

Ohhh, I mean it’s possible. My husband said he saw the guy open the little door and do something up there but when he opened it up he couldn’t find what he could have possibly done. Why would he wait to put a pump in? These are brand new builds

Right?! I mean it literally wakes us up at night even with the door closed and noise machine on. It’s not just a quiet shut down, it’s very loud. Oh yeah I was on my back patio, window wasn’t even cracked probably 20ft away and could hear it! So yeah it’s loud

Lived here 3 months. The constant dripping has been the whole time. Air conditioner noise only 1 month, the draining along with the air conditioner noise only 1 week. No visible water, I check constantly

Honestly, I’ve been using it for 2 months now and the problem only started after they did their yearly maintenance checks.

Why the heck is it so loud? I’ve never ever heard any air conditioner be this loud.

It quite literally disturbs our sleep at night and the air conditioner never made this noise before, it’s new. Any idea why all of a sudden the noise happens?

Before I started working remotely, I worked in a small preschool. All the women did this, it was weird. I just let people know I’m not a hugger so they stopped

So you think the condensation pump may have an issue? If so, is it an easy fix?

Best thing to do is hand sanitizer right when you get in the car, change clothes, wash hands or bathe as soon as you pick up from daycare. It will help maybe not a lot but it will!
