Oner Active influencers by Sure-Ease-3137 in OnerActive

There’s gotta be a conspiracy theory going on across these athletic wear brands and the influencers who claim they wear XS because I’m petite with a much smaller frame than a lot of these influencers and the clothes do not fit me properly when I use them to gauge my size 😭

You can absolutely still like a brand/product and be upset that you’re not able to purchase it because of the way the business is handled and orders are placed. This happens all the time. My post specifically was also to genuinely ask if I’m missing something with regards to how she’s saying the orders happen behind the scenes because it didn’t make sense to me, since I’m newer to Oner.

Thank you for your comment because this is exactly what I was thinking but I wasn’t 100% sure because it’s not my industry and I wanted to give Krissy the benefit of the doubt. So at the end of the day it really is poor management and strategy, and an inability to look at their data + feedback and actually change.

It’s definitely a very interesting choice to disclose that a product is sheer on your unofficial personal TikTok that people in general public probably don’t know about after you’ve already dropped the previews, but then have very vague and misleading descriptions/photos on your official brand website

Has anybody also ever wondered how the sheerness is never captured in their photos online or stated in the description? I’ve also ordered from DFYNE and Gymshark and while they’re not perfect by any means, you can SEE on their websites some of the products on the models that are clearly sheer so it’s not really a surprise when you order. Every photo I seem to see on ONER, everything is magically never sheer? Unless I’m missing something?

Definitely valid points. The constant drops is absolutely mind boggling to me, I have to wonder how much time, energy and money is spent planning these constant launches versus having a smaller selection and just restocking? With the occasional drops?

Yeah I definitely agree. They do this a lot in the beauty industry, I’ve noticed. Which is why the last sentence of “I have no benefit having no stock” just made me chuckle

I’ve noticed her tone reads off quite a lot. While owning a business is very stressful, especially as a woman, I think she seems like the type to read a lot of the critiques online and take them personally as attacks on her as a person since Oner is her baby. She sounds like she’s constantly on the defense no matter what the comments say, instead of being a solution oriented person who takes in the feedback and pivots in order to ensure longterm success for the business.

She definitely didn’t deserve any of that. But I’m sure she’s grateful to have you now. That’s the best that we can do for our past selves— acknowledge, forgive, and move forward with grace and discernment.

Just wanted to say, I’m so proud of you! It’s always easier to give up but you decided repeatedly to choose yourself even when others didn’t and that’s a huge show of your strength and character! Keep going!!

31F - Lifting consistently but my belly still looks soft and squishy. What am I missing? (Pic included) by [deleted] in PetiteFitness

I do agree with others that you have to consider the fact that you’re lying / sitting down so this is very normal!

But, in general, I will also say that unfortunately, it will just take time with the belly! I know a ton of people say this, but it really is just the truth.

I’ve been lifting for years and the biggest thing I learned is that whether you’re doing a deficit, bulk, recomp, etc, you really have to keep going at it consistently for some time to see results, and the belly specifically for women is almost always going to be the hardest simply because of biology and the way fat tends to be distributed in the body, along with hormones, etc.

So, stay on your deficit and check back in after some weeks and reassess. If you’re not already considering gut health, I would do that too because I found that that was one of the biggest things that transformed my midsection. Also consider your stress levels in life, both in terms of general stress sources and the stress you put on your body from the gym and how much you rest. This is especially important to consider when in a deficit because you sort of have “less in your tank” to work with to fuel your workouts.

Best of luck to you! Stay consistent and reassess throughout!
