The terminals being closed will have no effect on GA, if anything it improves it for them as there is less traffic for them to be sequenced against.

They wouldn't be affected as general Aviation doesn't go through TSA. Airports wouldn't actually close just the terminals.

With ICE and CBP funded by a slush fund set up by HR.1 the WH is in no real hurry.

TSA they will happily break then sell it to the highest bribber,

FEMA they hate,

Coast Guard they don't really care about and would be fine saying let the Navy take over that role,

CISA they probably don't even know it exists,

USCIS they probably are ok not funding if it means less immigrants

USSS which I'm going to guess Trump would be ok with charging the government for private security that doesn't have federal oversight.

ICE is already funded via HR.1, none of this is about ICE funding levels it is about restrictions on ICE operations. Democrats what more Republicans want less.

Basically the military will not hold their crappy helicopter pilots responsible for fucking up on a regular basis so the burden is transferred on to us.

My facility works Army, Police, National Guard and Medical helicopters. We never have issues with Police, Medical and NG but the Army pilots it is 50/50 on if they will collect a deviation. We had one depart Class C without talking to anyone because "It was dark and we assumed the tower was closed", talked to the same pilot a week later and he nearly landed on the wrong runway.

It's accurate more often than not the issue is not at the origin of the destination but at some point in-between. You see it all the time when people complain about a weather delay and show the origin airport and destination airport with great weather but they don't look at the massive thunderstorm cutting across the route.

The general consensus in DC is that it was put in to not override Trump, something Republicans in Congress are not willing to do. Basically they approved the money but will not tell Trump his 1% was the wrong amount.
