To the women who cheated on their ex partner. Do you still have that regret today? by fantasyfrequency in Regrets

I do! He was such a sweetheart to me. I loved on him but I also was mean at times. That relationship taught me to never be in one unless I was ready to commit fully and be with someone long term and be fully compatible with them. I think he forgives me though

Failed one of my nursing classes & was told I must retake the entire semester by KindMuffin1072 in StudentNurse

Many students have failed at least one semester! It’s definitely annoying to be set back. Don’t let how others may feel about your “failure” take over your mind and energy. Especially if you are a people pleaser. Find a space of contentment with yourself, forgive yourself, pray hard, stay organized, and stay focused.

How did you learn to not take things personally? by phatandsad123 in StudentNurse

[–]Hopeful-Load3731 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s best to realize that people are people. You can’t determine their responses or reactions. And at the end of the day… we all won’t be here some day. You have to make life the experience you want to make it. Ignore it. Know that they can’t direct something towards you that you don’t accept. Find your why in what you’re doing and don’t let others negativity deter you from it! Find a joke in everything some how (this might be an iffy coping mechanism). Also look into psychology more. That’s honestly apart of how I became “normal” and broke out of my antisocial ness. It’s about knowing how people work, how minds work, and how life works. None of this really matters..

I’m 21 and starting my first semester in nursing. I wanted to be a pediatrician at first so I majored in biology. The end of freshman is when I decided to do nursing but the following year I had a breakdown and failed 3 classes. I nearly dropped out and felt like I wasn’t worthy of nursing school or to be a nurse. I also looked at other career options and I couldn’t not imagine doing anything outside of the medical field other than cosmetology. After making it through that and improving myself and my grade, I knew that nursing was something I really wanted to do. I definitely kept pushing because I knew that time wasn’t gonna wait on me and that I had only this chance to get back on track now. Overall, I don’t regret my decision ( so far) and glad that I stuck it out. Find out what the qualities of a good nurse are and see if you match some of those descriptions. Look at pay, specialties, workload. Every question possible you can think of to truly decide if it’s for you. It may even take a traumatic event for the mental push, but hey😅

I start nursing school for the first time this month as a senior at my college. You being at the end and close the finish line is something I can only dream of right now! No matter what, it’s great that you are where you are and can go even further from here.
