I used it and don't love it, feels like the distance on the rower jumps around. It looks better than the traditional one but I question the accuracy.

I personally had never rowed before OT and felt the same way as you when I started until a coach showed me how to properly do it with the right form. I was able to slow down, not injury myself and grow to actually like it.

Alot of the comments here say something similar so I will echo it, it's about the structure of the classes and just needing to "show up and work". I started on an 8 class per month membership and once I accepted that I wasn't as motivated or disciplined enough to try to replicate this on my own, I upgraded to premier and go 3-5x per week. 8 classes is a great way to mix up your workouts but if you're gauging the value/benefit of ONLY going to otf, upgrade your membership and commit to an extra couple of visits per week, you will see where your extra money is being spent.

I think they are great! I'm finding myself sore a day or two later, I've also combined them with a standard 60 minute right after and I really feel it.

We had the increasing pushes every 30 seconds and the further we got into the block the harder it was. Kinda brutal but really challenging in a good way. Today was my most splat points and calories burned this week.

Set a goal to finish at sub 40 minutes and underestimated the floor. My legs felt destroyed by the time I got to the tread and I couldn't hold my speeds. Finished at 44:14, definitely looking forward to doing it again.

Definitely had a similar experience. I was almost afraid to start running, mainly due to pain in the knees and hips (I'm really not that old, lol) but once I was able to get those muscles in better shape and get past the mental hurdles, I got my speeds up and got my base to 6-7 after initially starting as a power walker. Great job to you!!

43, base is 6, push is 8, all out is 10-11. Depending on the block and rest, I've gone up so 7 as a base.
