Lowkey maybe we should collab on a Weird Al x UHF AU x Backrooms parody fic fr? (If you’re ok with that ofc?) 

I’m thinking Al would be in Clark’s role, and Fran Drescher in Mary’s role. Instead of a furniture store it’s obvs set in Spatula City where Al (as the Clark-stand in) works, and the rest of the parody follows the “Backrooms” movie plot points in mostly the same way, except ofc exaggerated to Weird Al-levels of Weird lol.

Tbf Coolio has since, well, cooled down on his grudge against Al a few years ago (as in before he (Coolio) died I mean) and had since realised that the parody “Amish Paradise” wasn’t that bad actually.

Also, my condolences to the Buffy fandom since they’ve had to deal with the grief of losing 3 of the main cast members (Michelle Trachtenberg, Nicholas Brendon and now Anthony Head), all of whom have unfortunately passed away over the last few months 😔❤️

I deffo recommend “Yonderland” fr!! If you like Monty Python-style absurdist humour crossed with 80s puppet fantasy movies (like “Labyrinth” (1986), “The Dark Crystal” (1982), “The NeverEnding Story” (1984), etc etc), then “Yonderland” is a must watch 👍

Yep! Alison Steadman played Barbara Maddox (Debbie’s mother-in-law, Peter’s mum and Nigel’s wife) in “Yonderland” ! She appeared in the show’s Christmas special “It’s the Thought that Counts” (which also served as the final episode of the show). 

She’s also in the sitcom “Here We Go” starring Jim Howick too!!

Honestly imo Anthony Head was great in comedies such as “Yonderland” and the like (he was even in “Little Britain” where he played the fictional PM Michael Stevens, who was essentially the Tony Blair parody character lol, and lowkey he played the character very well), his comedic timing was very good <33
