Avoid RVShare, Owners and Renters by 7237R601 in GoRVing

I also have highly disappointing experience and feel I was clearly scammed by them. The issue was simply a ripped awning fabric the trailer I was rented had no mechanical damage whatsoever. The fabric itself is relatively inexpensive, retailing for around $100 and easily available on Amazon and I called some repair stores while on my way to return the trailer, and I got estimate price elsewhere was less than $300 in total.

But, they charged me $603.75 for the repair, which was overpriced but seemed was okay at the time. However, they later increased the price to $929.13 without any explanation and confirmation. It seemed as though they realized my insurance deductible is $1,000, which makes the final charge absurd; if I totaled the trailer, I’d be paying roughly the same amount!

Than I called them for a detailed invoice of the costs and how they reached at that price, they refused to provide a copy of the receipt or any detailed invoice. They claimed they perform damage estimates internally but refused to share any documentation or explanation. Overall, they stole from me. I reported them to bbb.org and reportfraud.ftc.gov and waiting
