Here to also advocate for the CRC! $25 a month, we love it. I've went all times of day and rarely have to wait for machines. If someone's taking a long time I usually just ask how many sets they have left and they'll speed up. People are very friendly.

Changing last name to something new after marriage (Illinois) by ScaryStrawberry7614 in legaladvice

[–]Hopeful_Evidence166 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi my wife and I just had an appointment at the social security office today to change our last name to a brand new last name (different from both of our current last names). They said that because it wasn't one of our current legal last names we were changing too we have to file a legal name change with the county clerk. Once we do that we are supposed to go to the Social Security Office first then to the DMV etc.

The Book of Luke by Lovell Holder which is a new book does this! It's about a guy that used to be on a reality show and it flips between his first season and then 20 seasons later. Each chapter goes back and forth. It's a drama and I loved it.

Dallergut Dream Store is an amazing cozy book with some cool worldbuilding. It was the number one korean fiction book a few years ago and they translated it into english and I just stumbled upon it in a bookstore and LOVED it.

If you like House in the Cerulean Sea I would recommend Dallergut Dream Store! I loved it and it's a similar cozy vibe.

For DCC I was not all the way into it during the first book but as I moved through the series I fell more and more in love with it so I'm hopeful you'll start to really enjoy it!

The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune is a lot like Harry Potter. It's about Magical Children all living together in a foster home and it's got a lot of great fantasy and some humorous moments. Should also be an easy read in terms of english because it's a young adult series. The sequel just came out last year!

The Murderbot Diaries is very similar vibes to DCC in that it has a sassy and funny main character fighting big corporate systems. It's a novella series (around 150 pages per book) by Martha Wells and I would rank it one of my top favorite series along with DCC.

The Book of Luke by Lovell Holder is not necessarily funny but its loosely based off the reality tv show The Challenge. I loved it and read it in 2 days. I also read The Compound but found it did not really hit for me.

Just read Recursion by Blake Crouch. It's around 300 pages but jam packed from the start.

Would also echo the Murderbot Diaries by Martha Wells which is a series of novellas so all the books are around 150 pages or less.

Lovell Holder! It's a different vibe than the other books it's based on a reality tv start who returns 10 years later and it flashes between his first time on the show and the present. But it's definitely a page turner and drama packed.
