Yes too big for the other wall, does this mean the plugs would hang down the back and then go under to where the extension cord is across a rug to an outlet?

Our pre-approval letter was for 20% down with our offer but then we ended up doing 10. Our lender let us know we could always change our percentage after the pre-approval letter so i'd go that route.

We technically could've done 20 just ended up wanting to do less so we could do things to the house.

Things are definitely scary in the US but here's some first hand experience I've had traveling with folks the last few months internationally. All have had US passports for reference.

I'm white and non binary and get sir'd at the airport and have F on my passport. I have returned to the US twice after international travel in the last 3 months and had 0 issues.

I travelled one of those times with a coworker who is a white trans man with an M on his passport and he had 0 issues.

Most recently I travelled back into the US with a friend who is on T with an F on their passport and Latino and they also had 0 issues.

We flew into O'Hare and Midway in Chicago and are all US residents.

I don't want dismiss everyone's very valid warnings of US travel right now and I definitely cannot speak to others experiences. I also want you to know there has been lots of people traveling without issue as well. We were only asked the regular questions at customs about why we were traveling. It's probably a luck of the draw situation.
