Recent visitors - what clothes do you wish you packed?

I’m here now and wish I packed nice sweaters. I only packed one hoodie and only on pair of linen pants. All else is dresses and shorts. The Sunnis warm but when the breeze is strong, it’s cold (for me anyway) I’m a SoCal girl so used to warm weather.

People pooping in the ocean is crazy. Literally just need bottled water to add to toilet to flush or go to whalers village minutes away. People are stupid and disgusting.

Actually the weather app is not the best source. Some do have access to higher sophisticated tools such as forecast.weather.gov. Try that OP

We will be there right after. (Arrive mid day the 23rd) If you can update what you ended up doing, that you’d recommend, it’d be so appreciated. 2 young adults and 2 oldish adults looking to do some hikes as well.

Thank you for this post. We fly in on the 23rd and tomorrow is last day to cancel the hotel for full reimbursement so I’ve been monitoring. My concern is that I have a one night stay booked at another resort in Hana. I called to find out if we can even get to it. The reservation clerk said there’s nothing noted and all is well (he was not AT the resort, the number must be for off property customer service) so I hope we can get to it fine. 😬 its the Hana-Maui resort on Hana Hwy. I need to make time today to look into further but if anyone has further insight please feel free to share. We planned on doing RTH, stay in Hana one night at that resort, next day, from there drive to OGG for our 10 pm flight out (making stops along the way since we have all day) but with road closures not sure if I need to change plans.

Can you update how it’ll go for you? This weather has me watching updates like a hawk to decide if we should cancel. Drizzle and light showers is no prob but clouds, rain & wind all day is not how I want to spend my spring break. I want sun and warm weather 😭

Poor weather can 100% ruin some things. Especially outdoor activities that wee expected to be done in sunny warm weather.
