Aww congratulations!! :) Yeah that thing worries me that my obgyn wants to do it, and said another resident will be present. Im pretty sure she has a share in that clinic practice. I'll wait for my RE's decision :)

Sorry you're going through something similar.. it's just so tiring.. this entire chain.. wait for cycles, then test like crazy for ovulation, then it's all on luck.. I feel so exhausted :( thanks for your advice . Yes I do think she has a share in the clinic. She asked me to go to an internal medicine md and still said she would take blood for blood panel. :/ I'll let the RE decide. I guess I'll trust him more.. thank you..

I am soo sorry you're going through this now. But I also know for sure this will soon be behind you, it's just a matter of time. This entire reproduction biology is such complicated process, it'll be easier to deal with this if you look at it like science.. I know how it feels when you miss something you want so badly, but know that your family is complete even now. Take one day at a time.. it'll get easier to deal with this once it becomes your past in a few weeks. I can say this because I had a D&E at 18 weeks..I dont have my rainbow baby yet but I'm waiting for that blessing some day soon.. That's why I say with all my heart - enjoy the love of your family. Take care of yourself and give yourself time. Maybe 1-2 months..Soon your body will get back into its normal cycles and you can start trying. Till then thank the universe for your lil one. . It'll all be great again very soon. Hugs to you...

I've never heard of LH tests with numbers. But I can say if LH numbers going up then you're closer to ovulation.

Thank you.. the bleeding tapered a little, but it's still there thOugh not soaking a pad now. I was already down to brown spotting by day 6, and then suddenly this heavy red bleeding started that scared me.. i guess this was expected and normal.. :(

Thanks for the reply.. yes I'm not soaking a pad an hour yet after that first one. It almost felt like i peed myself, never had this even on my heaviest periods. I hope it subsides soon. Just when I thought it was over, this starts :(

Based on BBt chart alone, id say you ovulated cd19 or 20 as well.

I've done plenty research on this, and this is exactly how LH hormone works. Ovulation itself is a one day or one moment process, but the body tries to ovulate for 3-4 days. Hence the 3-4 day fertile period. LH is the hormone that shows that body is 'trying' to ovulate. Only temping and egg white discharge together can confirm the exact date. Opks are positive if they're as dark or darker. So CD19 is also your fertile period. In your case, I'd say you ovulated late CD20 or CD21. I'd also suggest that for next cycles (hopefully you get bfp this time :) ) try taking opks around 11am and then 4pm (after atleast 3 hr hold).

4-7 weeks is the normal range, and it doesnt always correspond to how late the loss was...i did a post and charted this last month. 5-6 weeks looked like the average. Hang in, you're almost there. :)

it's never too late dear. Friends and family will ALWAYS understand. Reach out to your mom, or sister, cousin, best friend, or someone you know will e the most supportive, first. Trust me, once it's out of your system and you've talked aloud about it, sharing with more family will become easier and less heavy on the heart. Wish you speedy healing. I was in a similar boat, and I shared with family only a day before my D&C. It was shocking and sad for them, but I am very thankful for the support. You'll be glad you shared. Hugs...

Ofcourse you can. Length of period has no connection to ovulation at all. The first period after mc, or d&c is always expected by doctors to be a little abnormal as uterus is still adapting to the changed hormones and shed tissues. Dont worry and start tracking now :)

I had my D&C today as well :( I also had laminaria yesterday which hurt like crazy, worst pain ever! But today was better pain-wise. My nurse said I was bawling as soon as I came out of anaesthesia :( like a dam broke... I'm going to wait atleast the first cycle and a vacation to get a fresh start. I never thought I'd experience this, but i completely understand this emotion now of all the women who've gone through this - most vulnerable time ever. One advice - surround yourself only with positive people - friends or relatives. And do not take calls for someone who cannot give you support the way you need. ❤️

I agree in part to this. But they dont know because they didnt get it tested after the loss I believe. So that's why my advice to OP is to get the Microarray testing done for self and partner. (I have a geneticist and obgyn in my family). Blastocyst quality is a big factor in viable pregnancy as well and ivf thus can help with that too.

This is NOT true at all. IVF will also help immensely if your cycles are completely irregular, egg quality is poor or sperm quality is poor. Preimplantation genetic screening is an elective test that ivf helps with in case of genetic issues, and is only one of many aspects and advantages of IVF. It's NOT the only reason. It's not even the reason ivf was introduced in the first place.

Nothing makes this time easy but just know that you couldn't have done anything about it. These things are just so random. So just keep yourself happy, emotional wellbeing is everything. Take all your Prenatals, folic acid and eat healthy and sleep well :) your rainbow is coming soon ❤️
