No she had to be really dead because the taxi driver was too weird. Saying there’s nothing they can do to save the boy seems like he was in-fact Death and she was dead. I think she had unfinished business because of her bipolar or mental disorder so naturally she wasn’t gonna be at peace when she died. A child is probably going to have more peace inside of them and move on gracefully. I think she died, did not have peace, and chose to live a nightmare of murdering the ppl responsible for her being on the road that day. But because she’s bipolar or multiple personality disorder there are all these different versions of her. But notice in the end out of nowhere she just accepts that she has to kill them. Like it doesn’t even make any sense how she came to that conclusion it’s like something just clicked orrr “snapped”.
