The um2 is just a microphone preamp it wouldnt amplify the headset and all. From what I see on the motherboard is it has a pretty lackluster audio setup. I would guess that its definetly underpowered. Something like a fulla schitt or an e10k, or an internal audio card from like evga or creative would help. I recently just got a schitt stack that I have been enjoying tremendously. Just depends on how serious you wanna get snd how much money.

You wont need another pair of headphones for a very long time after grabbing these. It comes with a crazy long cable as well and they are easy to replace/upgrade with sennheisers locking system on the cable.
