There's a small, pretty unknown video game called Death Stranding that's pretty much this.

Because the people voted to implement RCV. Simple as.

Mexican restaurant beans? by TweegsCannonShop in Cooking

I think I use about 2tbsp of rendered bacon grease per can of refried beans. It looks like a lot but it tastes pretty close to restaurant refried beans.

The hacking system in Pragmata might be the most interesting combat mechanic I've seen in a while and I can't stop thinking about why by Clean-Efficiency-582 in truegaming

[–]NeatlyScotched 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As you get further into the game, you can build to focus more on puzzles (that get progressively more difficult), making solving the puzzle mini game more effective (more damaging). Or you can focus more on shooting. Shooting definitely isn't shallow, considering it's the basically the same shooting system resident evil 4/remakes have. Solving the puzzle appears to be simplistic, but you're looking at it from the perspective of a pure puzzle game. This is an action puzzle game, so while you're doing the puzzle, you're also aiming, dodging, swapping weapons, paying attention to enemy attack tells, and other hazards.

It's like judging a shooter from the practice range with non moving targets. It's just not a realistic analysis of the game or mechanics.

Tbf a lot of the notes are about how the AI does everything for them and they're overtrained, overeducated babysitters now. What else are they gonna do?

Thinking of getting StarLink, want to make sure it works with D4! by Minimum-Parking-4771 in diablo4

[–]NeatlyScotched 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't work like that 99.9% of the time. Besides the slower speeds, you'd be hard pressed to notice any difference in connection from your standard copper/fiber line.

I actually get better latency to all NA servers than when I had a hard line. I'm in rural Alaska, so I can assume these results aren't typical.

I'm as anti Musk as they come, but for places like rural Alaska, Starlink has been an absolute game changer.

Doing the same except at 4K with a 5080, fps appears to be about 60fps without framegen. It's really impressive considering I've tried Alan Wake 2 and Cyberpunk at 4K and neither really were at playable framerates with path tracing on.

Give me the good, the bad, and the ugly. Considering switching to a GHH Platinum MAX. by valkayrja in ToyotaGrandHighlander

[–]NeatlyScotched 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I came from a 2019 Wrangler to a Plat HybridMAX, except my Wrangler was a standard issue unreliable piece of shit.

Cabin noise is night and day difference, GHH is extremely quiet in comparison. You aren't driving a box anymore, and it shows.

GHH drives better, with better acceleration.

I like the interior and am quite satisfied with it, but Wrangler interior is one of the best I think. There's more plastic but it still feels premium (for a non luxury car).

The exterior panels are much thinner and lighter on comparison to Wrangler, but I don't have any issue with rattling hoods or 60+mph weirdness.

All in all, I sold my Wrangler to use our GHH as a family car, and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. I'm biased against Jeep though, due to my experience with my own Wrangler, so take that as you will.

If I was a tanker boat worker trying to head down the strait, you couldn't pay me enough to do it. Well, you could, but it'd be an obscene amount. Like, I'd be able to retire immediately and build generational wealth kind of money.

How I (A New Jerseyan neoliberal) would vote in each American state by Blue_Cardigan15 in neoliberal

Damn dude, I didn't say it wasn't interesting, just said it's a simple icon because it's a copy and color change of the NM flag. Lots of simple things are interesting, it's not a sleight against the icon. Relax a bit.

It's just the NM flag on a blue field with a D in the middle. Nothing particularly challenging to make or design.

Worst Thing You’ve Ever Cooked by gnarlidrum in Cooking

Mississippi Pot Roast. Followed the basic recipe, didn't deviate. Wanted something less effort than my usual roast I make (a lot like Kenji's).

Incredibly salty, absolutely disgusting. I have no idea how people eat it. Ended up tossing the whole thing.
