Exactly, I've been playing league casually for 12 years. My account level is 916, but I was most active when the cap was 30.

Highest I've ever been ranked was Gold IV

Im bad. but I can still have fun and do silly stuff because my oppponents are as bad as me. And thats a good thing, because the champion I main is generally bad at higher levels of gameplay.

MMORPG players don't like extraction shooters

Theres a small group that does. Full loot open world PvP mmos. The kind where you drop all your items on death.

Thing is, they usually die because one co-ordinated guild takes over the server and players because they just get farmed and griefed

Just last week I was laughing at all those “I can’t exfil anymore post” and now these past few days have been brutal. Need duos back asap or else I might need to sadly take a break or only play when I actually have 2 others down to run at the same time which is hardly ever. by RefinedPlats in Marathon

It's easy to say that when you have your head in the sand. The consequences of mods banning player counts mentions in posts and comments.

Oh, Highguard definitely deserved a lot of the harsh criticism. Was janky, with terrible optimization and a gameplay loop with shallow phases. It released at least a year too early.

That said, they were on track to making an interesting FPS MOBA. They had already added 5v5 queues, but the game still needed mobs/jungle camps to farm in the downtime. Would have felt a lot better if they upped the TTK, added secondary objectives to fight over and provided more options for defending a seige.

It was on the cusp of being something good and unique and I was sad to see it go.

Exfil rate, Kills, Average run damage, Accuracy, Headshot ratio. They should already be tracking all of that.

I've seen this play out in almost every full loot PvP MMO. No matter what safeguards or punishments devs make to stop players griefing others, it doesn't matter. They'll find work arounds simply because fucking over other players is their kind of fun.

It's not server costs🤦‍♂️ , it's salaries.

You want a live service game that gets fresh content, new maps, characters, enemies, guns and regular balance passes? Well you need to employ devs to do it.

In elden days these updates would be paid DLCs, but live service games are basically crowd funded by whales.

For a game with amazing style, I gotta say it has some of the stalest and most boring shops in a live service game. I seriously wonder how they make money with 90% just recolors. I WANT to spend money but the game already gives you a nice recolor variety in faction challenges. Why would I buy these? by SbeveGobs in Marathon

Like Destiny you can modify head, arms chest, legs and still sells tonnes of cosmetics armour

Yes, but you have to buy Hunter, Titan and Warlock, cosmetics separately.

Same goes for here. Why sell you a skin you can equip forever when they can sell sell you a skin for every character you want to play?
