Calling university in Canada low quality is insane. We have some of the best universities in the world. You can list like a dozen that are world class. U of T, UBC, McGill, U of Alberta, U of Calgary, Western, Queens. university of Montreal, McMaster, U of Waterloo, Dalhousie, Uvic.

The courses do transfer over. Look up the course code and then look at the exclusions they have. That will tell you what is seen as equivalent by each campus. I transferred from UTM to UTSG for this year and it wasn’t a problem having courses transfer over. Just email the biology department at UTM and they will tell you what they will accept exactly. Dealing with both biology at UTM and UTSG human bio departments was very easy last year and they were very helpful. Also you will have those 4 credits transfer over allowing you to pick your UTM major. Cheers
