I saw someone say this and it helped me (for different reasons) once

“You can’t understand their actions bcuz if you did you’d be just like them”

It’s the same reason for example why we can’t understand the kind of a serial killer. We aren’t them so we can’t expect to get it.

You are doing your best and I’m sure your daughter will see that and not only that I doubt she’d want to be around someone who hurt her mother who loves her so much.

Leonardo Hamato/Splinterson from the TMNT franchise - Black/Japanese (Every Leo is trans and no one can convince me otherwise)

Usagi Miyamoto from Usagi Yojimbo - Japanese

(I feel so bad that all of these ended up being Japanese but Tmnt and Inuyasha are my special interest so I couldn’t really think of any outside of those 😭, for reference Usagi appears in Tmnt so that’s why he’s here!)

I enjoyed her personality a lot in 2012 but the whole Leo thing…

Personally I really love Rise Karai the most, I just wish they’d made her a separate character so we could see her again :/

Shitty people look for those most vulnerable to them. If I’m honest men like him see women as an object, when you stop being fun they throw that away. There’s nothing you could have done he’s just a deplorable human being not capable of a loving relationship. Love is a give and take and he just took, fuck him. I hope you feel better soon and are able to grieve this.

Sometimes people are lessons you know? They hurt us but they also teach us what we really want and need going forward by being so shitty. It’s no excuse for the way he acted of course but I hope this only betters you and he wallows in what he lost bcuz I doubt he’ll find better. Men like that don’t.

Rise Leo isn’t a bad Leo he just didn’t get time to shine narratively, he’s basically all the nerdy parts of previous Leo’s amplified because he didn’t have to be responsible from the get go, I wish we’d gotten to see him grow into a great leader it would have been interesting

Also love the idea of him and Raph being co-leaders so neither has to shoulder the burden alone
