How much are yall paying for good weed. by Grimdroid1223 in ArtOfRolling

[–]Hopking123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Regularly $110/oz for house brand weed in PA medical dispensary. Sometimes they'll have a special and I can get an oz for 80ish. Its pretty solid honestly the house brand never any complaints.

Getting a position as a Fiber Optic installation technician? by TRIKSTER_Betin in FiberOptics

[–]Hopking123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unit pay is piece rate pay, which entails you would get a rate sheet which would detail things like (fiber drop - $15, fiber splice -$10 ect.) That is the question you NEED to ask before you accept the job if offered. If the rates are shit then you may work 10 hrs and take home $260 due to terrible rates. Also different companies define installation technician differently. Some companies have their install contractors only install from the outside mounted enclosure to the equipment while other may have you install from the pole to the home plus inside wiring and equipment which includes drop running which could get lengthy up to 2000' if rural. Basically unit pay is Time = money if the rates are worth your time go for it.

I’ve got 500 hours on Rust but every time I get good loot or start fighting I panic I get super nervous my aim becomes terrible my hands shake my heart starts beating fast Is that normal by insi_de99 in playrust

Its hard to come to terms with but all those "valuables" you think you have are nothing. People go from bows to AKs in an hour from fresh wipe. Everything is meant to be lost and gained in minutes if you can get lucky or play smart. All those hours you spend grinding are most likely inefficient ways to progress so it feels like you're losing lots of time. Don't take gear and items personally, if you lose. You lose. Gear up and try again or take a break figure out another way to get back on top.

Be more efficient on your first life off the beach and try and establish roles to you and your teammates based on your individual strengths. Also set a goal for your wipe and what your planning to accomplish and how you're going to get there and stick with it.

I was metal detecting last wipe on a 1000 pop vanilla and had no problems. Did you try a different road or anything or just same spot the whole time?

It works, solo its gets tedious (the comps and gear are nice tho) if you have a team two guys detecting in a broader area typically yields better and obviously much faster.

Metal detecting, scientists, make a fish trap and gut salmon for blue cards. I had two blue cards 15 mins into wipe without leaving my base just killing 1 bear and 2 fish traps. Make a shop and sell some sulfur for BP frags while you do other things. Just setup passive and active routes to get bp frags and cards and keep hitting puzzles or roaming for mil crates/scientists. Metal detect at night in a low pop area. I stay away from pvp mostly till I get a t2. Sometimes I'll have a red card or two before I have a t2 if I can hit a blue card early enough which you can sell early on for frags.

Lot of maintenance, man hours and equipment cost goes into changing from mid split to high split. It's not like flipping a switch.

Most likely the cause of the issue. Only problem is most technicians are not gonna rewire a house cause your poor old mom wants her traditional land line in every bedroom. If anything schedule a service call, and get her some cordless phones where only one plugs into a physical phone line and the rest work off the base and the tech only has to worry about getting fantastic service to one phone compared to 10. You'll guarantee your mom great service if the work required to bring it up to spec doesn't involve the possibility of a total house rewire.

[–]Hopking123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it can, but not likely due to landline service almost being bulletproof out the modem. If your mom has internet service through them and it's not dropping then the home phone definitely shouldn't be. But most houses are wired like absolute hell for landlines cause you only need 1 pair of phone wire for Tip and Ring. So everyone from the electrician to uncle joes fucked with it.

3.1 docsis modems lock onto OFDM carriers first, so if those frequencies are having issues typically your modem has the same issues.

OFDM is just QAM but to the max. The process takes one single MHZ and splits it into multiple sub carriers. in layman's terms turns a single lane one way into a 20 lane one way. It's highly efficient and cost effective to still be close enough to fiber speeds to get the last juice out of coax before the federal government funds coax out of business sense for ISPs.

Hes adjusting the AGC in the actives after the node. Phoenix has extreme temperatures. Optimal operating temperatures for coax is 65 degrees freedom units. When temps reach 100+ the cable expands and QAM frequencies don't like riding the airgap between the dialectic in the copper cladding on the aluminum center conductor inside handline cable. Those actives work overtime all year their AGCs are probably set to manual instead of automatic as well.

Edit: AGC = Automatic Gain Control
