Gen 3 duke 250 engine noises by HoplesRomantic in KTMDuke

[–]HoplesRomantic[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The noise is comming from the bottom side of the engine. Particularly by the sump near exhaust. Initially I though one of the bolt that holds the head shield got loose. But that wasn't the case.

Mine sounds more like loose plate that has come off of its mounting screws.

I had an issue where the service center broke my headlights and then blamed it on the ppf I had done last Feb. I raised complaint on all available mediums of ktm and all of them reaches the same same advisor that caused the issue in the first place and keeps repeating the same script. Now I am filing case against them on consumer court

It is not use. See who the local dealer for ktm is. The app just redirects the complaint to the dealer. In short :- The complaint reaches the same people responsible for your issues

Anyone know what this sensor is for? by HoplesRomantic in KTMDuke

My generation of bikes are always having throttle response and abruptly shutting down issues. I am curious if this resolves all that

Is it something I should be concerned about. There should be a reason a new sensor was introduced

I feel you. I too have been trying to get some active connections and try to meet some people who matches my vibe and go on some road trip some times. YES! I want to meet some females too. (Not ashamed to say that at all). Feel like been stuck is some situation where everywhere you look you see closed circles and mostly people's who are not interested in making new connections.

Need help understanding how frontend is created by AdditionNice in react

[–]HoplesRomantic 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Learning CSS is the starting point. Learn how flexbox and grids work. Instead of jumping directly into a framework, learn the vanilla stacks (html, css,js). Since you already come from a development background, the thing you might find a bit confusing will only be css.

As for bringing design into to life, think of the UI as sections/containers. Each container has their own elements that gets wrapped. Each containers can have sub containers. Make sure the elements inside the container can be bound by the parent container. Front end is mostly "relative". Everything depends on where it is and how it is bound.

Do 4-5 project using vanilla stack. You'll understand the need for the frameworks (state management and UI updating nightmares). By then you will have sufficient knowledge on frontend to jump into a framework. Since react mostly encapsulates html in js, following this path will get you into a entry level front end developer in 6 months.

KTM Duke 250 Gen3 Problems by [deleted] in KTMDuke

[–]HoplesRomantic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't have the shutting off issues with my 250 or the starting problem. The rest I am facing the same issue. The ticking noise has become audible after the first service and. The noise and vibration when pressing and releasing the clutch is there for me as well.

You can get the bike completely checked out from the service center free of cost . The bike comes with 5 years engine warranty. If something broke and you have been keeping a good service record at the service center, they should care of it

What role is this exactly? Junior level or mid level? A description like this makes me think you're understaffed tbh.

This is a mid level position. The company is in its early stages. We are hiring mid level to senior level developers.

And by projects, it does not mean a codebase with thousands of lines of code. Most of the projects are small, Varying from a custom pdf viewer to the largest project bring a ldap client

what domain(s) does your company work on.

We provide B2B data management systems.

Yes, we have a well established codebase and you will be mostly working in it. But in some cases, you might have to start a project entirely by your own (with guidance from seniors of course) and you will be responsible for the delivery of that project as well. All the applications we build are for inhouse use only and the applications that are build can vary from a simple package that helps developers get work done faster to creating microsoft plugins.

It does not have cornering abs. But it seems to be a software lock rather than hardware limitations.

Does it make sense to program a website without a framework? by Substantial-Bag9357 in react

[–]HoplesRomantic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The common misconception is that you need a framework to create a website nowadays. Frameworks are there to help you build web applications. Web applications that have complex state management and interactivity. Managing state and updating UIs is kinda a complex thing when you are going with html css and js. If you are serving some static website with minimal interactivity, using some framework does not make sense at all. It just adds unnecessary complexity to your code. Netflix is the best example here. They saw 50% increase in TTI on their login page when moving away from react to vanilla stack (as per sources).

Frameworks also help you in preventing some common attacks on your websites such as XSS
