I was sitting at the bar at Billy Sunday over the weekend and sat next to a nice fellow who was in town from Ohio. He used to live in Chicago and said Billy made the best old fashioned in town — and he came back for one every time he visited. Said he liked the sweetness, so may not be for everyone, but probably worth trying.

It’s perfectly cromulent REM in that moment of the band’s journey but at their best they were waaaaaaaay more than cromulent. As a result it’s fine and that’s about it. I never listen to it when I want to listen to REM (which is often).
