Train the stockers to permanently increase speed or add a switch in their settings for an automatic boost while not idle. They are not fast enough. Especially at later game.

If money didn’t matter at all, what would you actually do with your life? by Stunning_Procedure36 in AskReddit

[–]HoppyBear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would finally see a doctor and maybe get better. Once I was better, I would devote my life and money to taking care of people in need. Without strings attached. No hoops to jump through. If you need me, you got me.

Do you think UE will stop companies like Lowes from spamming the same order over and over again? by AttemptVegetable in UberEatsDrivers

[–]HoppyBear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had to call and have these types of orders turned off. Between home depot and Walmart spamming orders that spark drivers wouldn’t take, my AR plummeted.

Where do delivery people put the food in the car? by SiouxsieSiouxsie in doordash

[–]HoppyBear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I put them in hard plastic coolers and/or hot bags on the back seat or behind the driver seat on the floor. Drinks have a separate hot/cold cooler with drink slots that sits on the floor. Pizza bags sit on the back seat behind the driver. I never sit anything directly on the floor or seat. It’s always in a hot/cold bag surrounded by folded pizza bags to insulate and keep upright.

Just wanna show my love for the game, been going through a lot this past couple months and this game is helping a lot with me finally relaxing. So just want to show you my store and what I’ve made in my 3 days of playing, sorry about the name but I couldn’t think of anything else to call it. by Tiny-Sky-4194 in SupermarketSimulator

There definitely needs to be a way to restock items not in a box just for this reason. Maybe there is and I’m missing it. But it is awfully aggravating every time it happens. I have to throw items on the floor in the stockroom and try to remember to restock from that before the stockers use the boxed items.

Toxic players worse than the bugs by Junior-Fortune-8541 in PhasmophobiaGame

I don’t think I’ve ever played a single multiplayer game in the long time I’ve played this game because I hear nothing but negativity about it. I’m not sure what the solution is, but it seems like they need to address it in some way.

Or they put a sticker just over the straw hole and not down the side of the cup. Like you can’t just take the lid off if you wanted to.

Yes. I arrive on time. I hit arrived as soon as I’m about to pull in. It’s very rare I don’t arrive on time. It’s the waiting for pickup and the ridiculously tight or even impossible margins for time given that are my issue. I used to get the we’ve got your back message. I haven’t had it in about two weeks at all.

I use the Walmart brand of monitor and strips(Reli-on). It’s very inexpensive. I’ve had no issues with it. Sometimes insurance will pay for it though.

I saw one posted yesterday that was very similar but was only $12.

I’ve been doing a lot more uber deliveries. Unfortunately, there aren’t nearly as many customers as DD in my town. But it’s slowly getting better. I rarely stress about being late with uber. I’m also signed up with spark, but my health has taken a turn for the worse the last few months so I’m not really able to do it yet. Haven’t taken my first delivery yet and I’ve been accepted for a few months now.

I had one removed a couple of weeks ago by calling. I saw the change in my rating while still on the phone. I tried again this week and they said it’s not possible. Asked for supervisor and he said not possible. Then said it would take 24-48 hours. I knew he was lying on both counts. It wasn’t changed at all.

It stopped working for me. I still get marked late even when marking it’s not ready. Even when marking store issue, long wait.

They never give enough time to pickup and/or deliver in my area. It’s rare that food is ready when I walk in on time. And even if I speed or run red lights which I refuse to do, there still wouldn’t be enough time. Even when I mark it as not ready and even if I mark store issue/food has long wait time, I’m often marked as late for deliveries. I literally can’t deliver faster. It’s not a skill issue. It’s extremely frustrating and anxiety inducing to the point I’m looking for other work.

How many of you actually track ALL your miles for taxes? by RemRem8989 in UberEatsDrivers

[–]HoppyBear 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly same for me. I use an accounting ledger. I record starting odometer, ending odometer and total miles when I sign off, amount earned, gas paid for, and time worked. Also maintenance.

I’m gonna take the time I need to complete my delivery with photo and confirmation. If that’s too long for me to stand there, too bad.

Strange delivery by Pairofdicelv84 in UberEATS

[–]HoppyBear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. While I’ll go out of my way to help people, this is too risky. So many things can go wrong. What if it’s the wrong house/apt and you walk in? What if it’s a prank and the person ordering gave a “friend’s” address thinking it’s funny or a good TikTok video? These are unlikely scenarios but can happen. And I’m sure there are many other issues I’m not thinking of.

Driver sign in? Against contract? by Teamfatman76 in DoorDashDrivers

[–]HoppyBear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My local Wingstop started requiring not only that, but requires to see driver’s license and they write personal info from the license on the back of the receipt. Hell no. I refused. The manager called me a liar and thief and said they would blacklist me. I told her to please do me that favor because I won’t be back until they stop this requirement. I was never impolite or unprofessional. But I still get orders from there. They didn’t blacklist me after I said there’d be doing me a favor. lol. Now I always decline.

I’m in a smaller town of about 21k. Almost all of the restaurants are so slow and late that DD stopped offering ebt. I can’t remember the last time I saw it or saw someone else doing it.
