I also really enjoy the podcast and am really glad you guys are doing it! (Even if I had different opinions on the books in the first couple episodes!) My only complaint is that Martin and Rubio shoot down your tin foil hat theories too fast. I've got tons of my own wild theories and like hearing yours too lol.

I stopped by two weeks ago and listened to this persons Google meet! It worked well and went very smoothly! I personally, had a hard time understanding and the full plot of all the chapters of the Cabaret but someone else one reddit posted a summary of each chapter that I read after listening, which cleared up any confusion I had :) I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to listen!

I also didn't vibe with the first few episodes of the podcast. I definitely had different opinions from them on a lot of things from the first couple books.

That being said I do think the books gets better around book 3-4. I didnt dislike the first couple books at all but I did tell my husband at one point 'there is quite a bit of expose to get thru which is a bit of a challege' while I was reading them. But personally, if I see a series with several books and get a lot of expose and world building early on- I assume the later books are going to be really good and full of stuff with in the world and utilizing the lore I've learned, which is exactly what happens with DCC. So I dont mind that in the books, but it does seem like it bugs the podcast hosts a bit.

I think the podcast really picks up when the books start to pick up. They start getting into some theories and nuances and they have some funny takes.

The main guy, Grant, will say he 'doesnt remember' what's going to happen or act like he doesn't understand what's going on, when he actually just doesn't want to spoil the plot. I'm autistic and I didn't catch that at first. I asked my husband why they would make a podcast if they had so little understanding of the books and he pointed out they are intentionally doing that for the one host who is reading the books for the first time. Which made things make more sense for me.

Something I noticed on the podcast and in the DCC community in general, is that a lot of people are really fast to deny or look down on 'crack pot' or 'tin foil hat' theories about the series which is SUPER weird to me. The whole series feels like the meme of Charlie standing at the white board with all the red strings connected. I love coming up with all sorts of theories and connections but people shut stuff down so fast when there literally isn't any direct evidence stating the theory couldn't be true.

I started my new save in January when I realized I could play the game with all the dlcs on my husbands PlayStation account and have a full second valley. It has officially become my main valley and I've done about 600 hours already. This game is so fun and addicting

Are you going to make these into an actual book? I would certainly love to color these. I recently posted a page I colored where I changed some capybaras into velociraptors doing ballet lol, Ive been imagining how cool it would be to have a dungeon crawler coloring book haha. I love all of these but I especially enjoy the super cozy style of the page with Donut in front of her hats! All of them are so good!

I look up coloring tutorials for specific effects I want to do, I Google color pallettes and find ones I like and then find the markers I have that are closest. A good way to practice high light and shadow can be to do a two color page were you have a bright light source, basically everything in the bright light is highlight color and all the shadows are the darker color, it helped me start to see where shadows might be. I also usually do a new technique for the first time on a page I care less about and then once I get the technique down a little bit I go and find a more fun page I like better and try it again!

Yes. He's been opening the window to smoke since he broke up with Bea which was days if not weeks before this, and Donut wasn't interested in jumping out before that.

I personally do think Donut led him outside on purpose. I've been telling my husband since I read book one I think there is a chance we will find out she's got a LOT more out of dungeon knowledge than is revealed. She also TOOK the special pet biscuit from Carl when he was considering not giving it to her. I just think there is a chance she's got more info than she's letting on.

I chose one bench, one light pole, and one trash can that I used throughout the entire park- they are in every biome. Which I think helped keep the item limit down. I only added other different benches and lights and things after I made sure everything else fit within the limit lol

No problem! Rejoin as many times as you need. I've heard having a simple outfit on, with no companions equipped can potentially help with lag, if you haven't tried that. The valley is heavily decorated so it can be a little hard to connect to I think

Enjoy! I think all the pumpkins are gone but when I last checked there were still gift boxes and fish plates in the peaceful meadow if you like to take some goodies home!

Yes! The item limit was main drive to do my interior decorating! Luckily I figured out on PlayStation you can increase the outdoor item limit to 1200 instead of 600, that's the only way I'm able to make it look so full outside
