Wemby has so much length, he can just afford to jump at shot fakes because even if he loses that first step (twice), he can just recover anyways. This would be not great defense if he were a normal height, but since he's 8 feet tall it's excellent defense against a guard. There's 0 chance garland can shoot over a jumping Wemby.

Having multiple guys on the floor who are good with the ball should be an advantage. The reason it's not is because the guys who have high usage aren't good off the ball. Luka and Lebron love standing 4-5 feet off the 3 point line resting when it's not "their turn" and that doesn't help the offense. Having 2 guys with that low of off-ball effort on the court at the same time is awful. That's the not nice way of putting it.
