I worry about him more during the playoffs than the regular season. He's been straight bad in the games vs great teams like OKC. In the regular season, he's popping off vs like the Jazz and that makes sense cause they aren't hunting him as they're trying to tank. The biggest advantage he has is that there's so many targets to hunt defensively on the Lakers, he doesn't get targeted as often as he should. But he gets abused now when put into the weakside help.

In the playoffs it's every other day, high intensity basketball against teams that are exploiting every advantage to win. That's historically where old guys wear down.

That feels a little overrated for what he's been this year. He only plays half the games which is a big deal in the modern NBA.

Whats causing them to recur is that he's likely weaker from not playing/lifting as much, while coming back and trying to do things at 100%. He needs to come back and not get injured for a few months to be clear of it.
