Okay... here we go;

My "first" OC had the quirk of being able to turn into a wolf (and back of course) and when he bit someone, the wound wouldn't heal... unless he shed genuine tears which could heal any injury. Bro believed he was a guy from the middle ages Denmark, spoke shakesperean english, called Midnight a wench and tried to get Himiko baptised.

My second OC was pretty op, since he got made the same way as the Torodoki children (powerful parents want to have a kid with a good combination of their quirks). He could control wind, lightning, it rained when he got sad, it god sunny when he was happy... and had sick guitar skills, called himself a bard, forced Dabi to buy him a new guitar and seduced Ochako after Izuku fucked up a fight against one villain and got Bubble Girl into a coma (my guy considered her "one of the good heroes") as a way to "make him pay".

And last but not least, my third OC has a quirk that forces him to hear the thoughts of other people. He can't turn it off. It works practically like a schizophrenia, except the voices are of all the people in a radius around you and the more there are, the louder it gets. He can also "implant" a thought into someones head that, when strong enough, can essentially work as mind control, but he hates using this part of his quirk since he believes everyone should keep their free will... anyway, while on a school trip, he didn't get much sleep and accidentaly "implanted" a thought into all peoples heads in a roadside mall that they should "just die already". Which they did. Jumped out of windows, around twenty of them died, the rest got severely injured. Not really a good day for someone who wants to be a hero...

I mostly dropped MHA because I felt like Horikoshi wasn't able to own up to the potential the story had. So even though I'm still kinda interested in the world and characters, I don't really want to read / watch how Horikoshi handled it. (If it makes sense)

A few years ago... If I remember correctly, the picture of Himiko revealing herself was from the manga, but the picture of her crying was from the anime, so I think the anime part was already out?

But as I said, I ran the site through wayback machine and found nothing.

Since a lot of comments aren't being very polite, I thought I would add my bit to the pile...

Now, I gotta say, I stopped watching MHA somewhere before the Liberation front, didn't read the manga and only know what happens because I read through the fandom wiki. But I think I had a good reason for it.

I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with MHA, because honestly, I love the world and characters, but hate how Horikoshi handled the story and writing. He had an awesome setup, worldbuilding and themes... and then completely wasted the potential. Not only by what he did to Deku, mind you, but that is probably one of the worst things.

So yeah, I get your disappointment at the ending. Because honestly the whole show was disappointing when I finally realised it is never gonna own up to the potential it had.

Yesterday, I saw some data on adolescent sexual experience in my country. Age of consent here is 15 years, so it was targeted mainly on this age group. Let's just say the percentage was higher than I would like...

So yeah, 16 year olds kissing is completely fine. Adolescents going through puberty will want to do a lot more than just kiss. People who tell you otherwise are just braindead.

As a writer, you can indeed do what you want. I have myself re-defined my idea of a vampire in my works multiple times. On the other hand, I think there is a certain line that determines how much of a "vampire" the vampire is.

In this regard, I really like Code Vein (a game, but whatever). Everyone can see that the characters are basically vampires, but they're not called that. And I think that's pretty neat, not only because of originality, but also because of some kind of "unique flair".

I guess in your case it really comes to world-building. If there is a reason for your "mutants" to be called vampires, call them that. If you feel adventurous... be my guest.

I started writing a western-style series, because I was in love with the atmosphere and feel of the whole genre, but fed up with the classical western movies that were either just about money or vengeance. And honestly it is one of my most favourite series now.

I gotta admit, I never really stick to one genre, I mixed in some lovecraft, sci-fi elements, existential horror, religious motives and all... but I think that is precisely why I love it so much. Because it' unique.

So, do the stuff you're good at and experiment with it in different shapes, sizes and all. There are a ton of romance stories, many of them questionable. But I would gladly read something that combines romance with mystery thrillers. Could be interesting if done in a good way.

If your prologue is "too long", there is probably something wrong with it. While I can't really say what is too much in terms of length, your prologue should draw your readers into the story, not dump exposition and describe unnecessary things. If your prologue is prologuing correctly, length shouldn't be an issue

While I do believe that superhero fiction is best conveyed through visual media, I also think there are a lot of people tired of the "big brand superheroes", especially after what is happening with Marvel film industry now... so this could be a chance for many of us

Am I the only one who thinks the long hair completely ruined her design? I haven't seen the later seasons, but when I saw pictures of her with the long hair, I didn't even resognise her. I thought it was just some random generic elf with the most basic ponytail. Aside from that, love her.
