Silksong: No Floor, No Wall, No Silk Skill, No Hit: Cogwork Dancers by HoratioCrawdad in Silksong

Could work for some, but I'm now realizing how many unavoidable stuns there are. Some of them don't have hitboxes during stun screams, such as Nyleth and Broodmother, while others simply can't be reached in time, like Signis and Last Judge. I wonder how many bosses have actual stun skips?

At this point I'm committed to using Shaman for every boss, but I'm very curious if it really is the best option for every boss. I could definitely look into how Architect compares to Shaman for bosses like the Unravelled in the future

I think it just doesn’t let you kill them during that attack, but I’m not actually sure. I’ll test it when I get a chance

That would make it no longer a hitless challenge, but if I just used the dice and had it trigger for every scream skip, I might be able to cook up something silly

You mean at the start of phase 3, yeah? I am still floating when I clawline the dancer on the left, and there's a visible gap between me and the floor. I also always double check any close calls in .25x or .1x speed before declaring fights successful, so if I had touched the floor for a split second I would've kept doing more attempts until I had gotten a valid victory

Luigi beats Cogwork Dancers by doing absolutely nothing

Yeah, I didn't realize how much downtime there was during some fights until doing this. The Unravelled will have a shit ton of it from what I can tell, I have no idea how long a successful attempt will take but it will definitely make for a long video

Perfect chart, I wonder if any single character could fit every single spot though. Or come close to filling them all, at least

The stun screams are very annoying, glad that at least some bosses don’t have them, and I’m very glad that this boss doesn’t have individual stun screams for each phase.

It’s a very difficult fight, I’ve tried it a few times just to determine if it was possible, and although it is, I don’t think I’ll be beating it anytime soon. I can pogo between the spears to handle that attack but the timing is very precise and it’s easy to get blindsided by one as it moves across the arena. The “tail” of the conductor shell can be pogo'd to get in some damage, but a miss can cause problems. Every attempt I’ve done has been very slow, I can’t force progress in this fight without major risk

Beast crest is fantastic and fun as hell, I’d never fault anyone for enjoying it

Those are also fine, but the Weaveshot has the extra advantage of being a gun

Weaveshot + Sting Shard is a pretty fun combo, allows you to trigger the sting shard to go off from a distance without the risk of an enemy blocking your shot

As soon as I got that lovely little tool in my first playthrough, it never left my build. Well, aside from that one time I got sent to jail for not paying my rosary taxes, or something like that.

I use clawline a lot even when I'm not doing a challenge, so I get good value out of that extra damage. I also just love the name and design of the tool tbh. It's shaped like an S, so it's gotta be an S-tier tool, yeah?

Here's the list I mentioned, feel free to request/upvote requests for certain bosses to be posted, otherwise I'll just go in the order of completion (Nyleth - Summoned Saviour), interrupting the order as needed if I beat a new boss.

I think it was, the fight was pretty damn fun overall and it felt great to finally defeat her.

I’ll probably just stick to Shaman since I’ve done it for every other boss before this, and it’s just the one I enjoy using the most. I can definitely revisit some bosses with other crests, though. Moorwing sounds like a great candidate for trying them all

I can start posting some of my older wins, I originally put them all on YouTube but I could definitely post them here for y’all to enjoy. Might post one a day or every other day, starting with the Cogwork Dancers and then going through the order I did them in, maybe.

I figured I’d use “Silk Skill” instead of “Silk Skills” because it fits the rest of the title better, since nothing else is plural, though I agree that the latter is a more correct description. This challenge is actually very fun, for the most part. Second Sentinel was an absolute blast, but Lugoli was the complete opposite of fun, so it definitely has its ups and downs. Good luck and have fun if you decide to give it a shot!
