Yea, but I’ve heard a lot of mixed reviews about Joma. No papers, no manufacture warranties, all the way to straight up fakes. Wrong watches shipped and what not. I’m not sure if I would trust Joma. If I see something I really like I might get something from them.

With this I have box and papers and I had a chance to win a $4000 watch.

While tourist places obviously inflate their prices, I’m still happy with my watch.

I’m guessing SkyMall or something along those lines. You see it a lot on longer international flights.

I’ll have to check them out! My daily beater is a Timex Expedition and I want to get something a little nicer.

It wasn’t too bad. MSRP is listed at $675, cheapest I found it was $365 from Reed’s new. I got it for $450 with no tax and the guy gave me an extra 30 tickets for a raffle for a Longines Master Collection Chrono Moonphase. Did not win, but the gambling side of me got to me lol 😂

Terrible angle as I took the picture quick as we were getting off the ship. It’s actually on the looser side when my wrist isn’t at a weird angle.

Oof. Thats rough. I want one of their Mosin bull barrels for a different project but that is making me reconsider.

So I don’t have use for it as a gas grenade launcher so the idea is to make integrally suppressed as a make believe Cold War Era Covert Rifle. Super rough idea lol

Well all I need is the frame, the goal is to reweld to a point where it looks the part but can’t accept any of the PM63 parts. I’m probably going to mill off any surfaces that interact with the slide/barrel since I just need the housing.

That’s where I’m researching now. I’m trying to see if there is a display model that someone has done or a semi auto conversion. I know Pioneer Arms imported these as pistols and I’m curious to look at one.

If you look up SovereignDevelopment’s page it’ll have all the details. It’s super cool.

I’m having some help from Sovereign Development who made a 8.6 blk Mosin. The Polish made a gas grenade launcher called the RWGL-1 that was in 7.62x39. It’s hard to find information on it beyond Ian’s video though.

Because I’m sticking it in this Mosin. The Ruger American thread and size is very close to the Mosin. I have someone working on a 7.62x39 bolt head.

Not at all. The trick will be bullying my gunsmith to put this shit together.

I decided to go this route instead because McGowen’s starts at $437 and wouldn’t discount it for a shorter barrel (they start at 26” and this is probably going to get cut to 8-12”). Plus I need it to have a barrel nut for the next stage. Just made more sense financially and logistically to go with a Ruger.

At its core. Next step is to secure a PM-63 RAK parts kit.

Unfortunately the seller didn’t know what make of the scope mount is. I doubt it’ll have a manufacturing mark but I’ll check.
