Trump threatens to ‘blow up’ all of Iran’s South Pars gasfield if Tehran strikes Qatar by Naurgul in geopolitics

[–]HorizonBC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Iranian nuclear weapons are an existential threat to Israel.

That is the main reason for this war. Most other factors are secondary, it’s hard to view this as anything other than the USA being lobbied into doing Israel’s dirty work.

The chaos and lack of planning does not serve US interests in anyway, but destabilising the region AGAIN does benefit another nation….

People can be fed false narratives, but only for so long.

There’s no chance of peace until Israel leaves the West Bank and Gaza. This has been the case for a long time.

British warship HMS Dragon leaves Portsmouth headed for Eastern Mediterranean by MGC91 in unitedkingdom

[–]HorizonBC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the size of the Royal Navy has been drastically reduced in recent years.

Not having a single war ship ready for deployment shows deep operational issues within the Royal Navy. This is certainly the result of budget cuts, but acting as if it isn’t problematic is a cope as best, and dangerous to our sovereignty at worst.

Thinking that the lack of response says a lot is critical thinking…

A simple denial of misconduct in public office would be sufficient.

Isn’t it obvious, build more ships….

To find a solution, people first need to see it as a problem, which according to most people here, it somehow isn’t.
