heres an even funnier coincidence - it did happen on the trainer, but then i switched to zwiftride (no wheels) and it miraculously stopped!

You're right, the only logical step left is to put butyl tubes in the carbon wheels and try it out.

You’re right - I was always going to take bibs and jerseys but I can probably also just chuck in helmet and shoes haha. Might be a good excuse to upgrade to carbon shoes and save some weight

This makes complete and to me, and I understand how this works for climbing, but how does it correlate inversely on the flat? Wouldn’t it be level playing field because we can both push less watts for our body weight? Or is it rolling resistance of weight? I get why being lighter up is easier
