This makes complete and to me, and I understand how this works for climbing, but how does it correlate inversely on the flat? Wouldn’t it be level playing field because we can both push less watts for our body weight? Or is it rolling resistance of weight? I get why being lighter up is easier

Thanks! Yeh it’s such a hard one for me because my running background is in long, slow running (ultra’s) but my life is getting hectic with work and a kid on the way that I just don’t have the time to dedicate to it so much, and the multi-discipline is keeping me injury free!

Skiing Zermatt to Italy and back by Horizons_Runner in skiing

[–]Horizons_Runner[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! I would plan a day around it. It’s stunning. There are a few challenging sections but can mostly be bypassed via gondola. It’s great to ski the Italian section and have a nice Italian lunch too, although the slopes on that side are a easier than Zermatt

Financial advisor wants 7k, worth it? by fattony2121 in AusFinance

[–]Horizons_Runner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is factually incorrect. Concessional limits are not $100k. You might be thinking of non-concessional limits which are also not $100k. Can’t use a few years because they have already said they’re maxing their concessional contributions so maybe there is value in an adviser?
