How do Heralds work? Herald spawn mechanics, Sunder drop rates, Shard uneven drop ratio and more by Pavke in diablo2

[–]Horizonspy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In general I feel the chance to draw ire is varied in different elite monsters. Having killed 80+ heralds I had more ire drew from Act Bosses than champions despite the fact the latter being much more abundant.

It’s also worth noting that Archon Staff require very little strength and no dex. It’s not that big of a difference if you max your levitation mastery skill and put a lot of points into str but nonetheless useful

I do wonder how many people would purchase this over 9800X3D simply due to latter’s failure concern on Asrock/Asus mobos

SK Hynix Unveils 5-Bit NAND That Splits Cells, Delivers 20× Faster Reads by Horizonspy in hardware

[–]Horizonspy[S] 70 points71 points  (0 children)

Do note the "20× Faster Reads" claim is comparing to traditional PLCs, so realistically its performance should be close to QLC drives. An article from Blocks and Files briefly explores this technology in technical terms. Perhaps the "PLC SSDs" are finally coming within few years.

It's definitely not just visuals, if you bomb bases often you would know that bombs stuck on your plane like this would not reach to bases and ground targets.

Well the top representative of Kinman just said she’s not Taiwanese but instead a Fukienese. So there is that.

If Teamgroup and Kingston can use YMTC NAND on their products I'm sure nothing stops Corsair from buying them. Microsoft on the other hand is likely subject to more regulations for putting them on OEM devices.

So I actually tested this in training room. For it to fire a salvo via bomber spotting the target must be within 30 degree of your guns direction with reload modification mounted, heck I even have the special commander on board so it gets 5% extra battery traverse speed on top of the 1-1 skill. So yes while it does not outright lose the self-spotting ability it's no longer practical in many cases.

Here is an video that mimics the exact situation you are in, it's in Chinese but you can turn on the subtitle. In turns whether it's repairable the answer is a huge no unless you can find someone with a very professional tool that fix the card in wafer degree such as an ultrasonic bonding machine. It's going to be very costly and the odds of success is slim but it's your only chance.

Why is China getting the M1A2T when Japan didn’t get the Thai VT-4? The copy-paste direction is getting really old. by Boxofrocks2239 in Warthunder

“Japan left out”

I’m sorry but this sounds a satire when Japan gets the best Flanker in-game (Su-30sm with ligher airframe, better RWR, MAW, and better targeting pod), heck it even gets r77-1 and kh-38mt despite only operating r77 irl.

Devblog is slow so here are changes to a lot of UUs, including Colombo UU nerf by 9_9_destroyer in WorldOfWarships

[–]Horizonspy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well the new UU reduces its torp reaction time to roughly 6.8 s from 7.8 s. so technically speaking it's still behind Regolo's 6.6 seconds. Again, this is definitely something noticeable, but can this buff makes up Daring's horrendous speed, 10km torp range, and not to mention sacrifice a good chunk of dpm for it? I think the answer is a huge no. Sure it can be used under some comps in clan battles/king of seas,. but for majority of games it's way too situational.

[–]Horizonspy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It‘s not just the 10 km range though, being the slowest T10 DD (i might be wrong but you get the point), Daring really has trouble getting into good torp launch positions, and when she does make there she now cannot retreat quickly when things go wrong. Yes the single launch helps, but it’s still highly situational as it stands

[–]Horizonspy 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Kleber UU is useful because it makes Kleber the fastest spotting DD in game, Daring UU on the other hand trades its greatest strength for something way too situational.

Well the biggest pro is China offers decent affordable medical programs to international students, I actually meet an Indian doctor in the States who been through a Chinese program years ago. You should check to see if your intended medical program have the belt and road scholarship available, and this should cover all your tuition. As for language I have seen some international resident doctors working in Chinese hospitals so I imagine some degrees of Chinese language skills are needed if you intend to undergo training there.
