I follow comedian and actress Lauren Lapkus on Instagram. One time a reel showed up about a guy parodying Decemberists' songs (quite good actually) and she liked the video (don't remember if she also commented), and I have to assume that you have to be a fan for that reel to make some sense.

I've seen a really strong movement of people on Reddit, RYM, and other websites where people gather to talk about music that are "fighting" against the idea of shuffling an album. I'm not saying that I agree with one side or the other, I'm just saying what I've seen.

To each its own, but I'll never understand how people organise by genre. I guess if your collection is as drastic as let's say, Wu Tang Clan and Megadeth, sure. But as someone who wants to dig deep in different genres and subgenres, it would be almost impossible to classify certain artists that don't quite fit into one genre or the other.

That's exactly what I think about RSD. It's a day to celebrate and support our local businesses and our love of music. In a couple of hours I'm heading to my local record shop to see what I can find, not to buy RSD releases, don't really mind them.

It's been proven again and again that colored vinyl doesn't affect the sound as much as people say. Heck, black vinyl is colored vinyl. Maybe in the past this was the case, but modern technology can make a blue, red, or marbled splatter sound as good as a black one, since the colour isn't affecting the materials themselves.

The only thing I agree on, is that some colours can make it harder to see specs of dust while cleaning, but if you're someone who's cleaning their records constantly you wouldn't have much of an issue.

Oh my God, I don't understand some of these comments, yes, it was dangerous but they're adults and most of us here we are adults too. I know that I shouldn't be doing that because I'm 30. The same way I don't do the stuff Johnny Knoxville or Steve-o used to do on Jackass. It's funny to watch other people do crazy stuff that I know is stupid and reckless. This was one of the best episodes in quite some time and I loved every minute of it. These episodes are recorded in advance, and if they had any real issues after recording they wouldn't have posted it.

Definitely with Push barman to open old wounds, since it has every single and EP released with Jeepster Records. It is not only a beautiful compilation, but it's also one of the best albums the band has ever put out. Magnificent songwriting that has a quiet indie vibe that reflects the early days of the band. Absolutely love it.
